Quitman Library Connections

The 2018 Summer Reading theme at the Quitman Public Library during the entire month of June is “Libraries Rock!” On tomorrow (Thursday) at 2 p.m. we will enjoy live classical guitar, violin and piano, and then on Thursday, June 28 at 2 p.m. we will have “Making Music

Together” where we will create our own musical instruments. Prizes will be awarded on that day, so check out books, read, and get your game card filled.

Displayed near the front check out desk is a collection of the best summer reads selected by Melissa Frosch. Stop by and check it out.

The second Friday Acoustical Jam is Friday, July 13 from 6 to 9 p.m. It is for acoustical instruments only and listeners are always welcome. Beans and cornbread will be served at 7 p.m. This is a free event.

Hours are Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Visit our pages at www.quitmanlibrary.org and www.facebook.com/quitmanpubliclibrary.  Wi-Fi is available 24/7.
