Quitman man faces aggravated robbery charge
Jordan Ryan Williams of Quitman faces a charge of aggravated robbery in connection with an armed robbery that allegedly occurred June 2 near Mineola.
Williams was being held early this week in the Wood County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
According to the Wood County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched at 12:34 a.m. on June 2 in reference to an aggravated robbery.
Deputies arrived at the location to find a male who had been shot in the neck.
The man said the shooting took place on County Road 2502 near Mineola.
The victim was transported to a Tyler hospital by EMS.
Williams is accused of being with another man who shot the victim and took his wallet. He was arrested June 3 and remained in the county jail as of June 11.
