Quitman Police Report
The Quitman Police Department answered 231 calls for service between Oct. 17-Nov. 6. The department issued 11 traffic citations and 13 traffic warnings, two criminal trespass warnings and took 12 reports.
Oct. 20
Officer Joe Andrade arrested Juan Espinoza at the Dogwood Villa apartments on Earlene Dr. for public intoxication after receiving a call of a noise disturbance. Espinoza was transported to Wood County Jail and booked in without incident.
Oct. 29
Officer Andrade responded to the 1200 block of Highland Dr. for a disturbance, and Brandon Hall was arrested for assault family violence. Hall was transported to Wood County Jail and booked in without incident.
Nov. 3
Officer Joseph Gatewood and Capt. Clint Perkins arrested Henry Berry on a warrant for theft of property after Berry was stopped for driving the wrong way on a one-way street. Berry was transported to Wood County Jail and booked in without incident.
