Quitman squads bow to Edgewood
The Quitman varsity basketball programs dropped last Friday’s games against high-powered Edgewood squads. The Quitman girls fell in defeat 58-14 while the boys lost 91-35.
The Bulldog varsity girls team has three district games yet to play: Tuesday, Jan. 29 at Rains High School; Friday, Feb. 1 at home against Alba-Golden; and Tuesday, Feb. 5 at Mineola.
The varsity boys team shares the above three dates, and they have an additional district game to play against at Lone Oak on Friday Feb. 8.
