Randall Bob Blalock, 1944-2020

Randall Bob Blalock, 75, of Tom Bean, passed away on May 29, 2020. Randall was born to Orivillee and Virginia Blalock in Yantis on Aug. 14, 1944. He grew up in Quitman and Tom Bean. Randall attended the Stage Coach Cowboy Church in Waxahachie. Randall was a landscaper for many years and enjoyed his work.

He is survived by sons, Heath Blalock and wife Kelly of Waxahachie, William Ross of Tom Bean and Martin Ross and wife Lee of Tom Bean; brother, Michael Blalock of Winnsboro; sisters, Barbara Deaton of Winnsboro, Nelda Doss and husband James of Sulphur Springs and Carolynn Peterson and husband Dale of Lindale; and nine grandchildren.

Special Olympics returns in style

Symphonic band presents Christmas concert

Concerts are Sunday, Dec. 17, at 2 p.m. and Tuesday evening, Dec. 19, at 7:30 p.m. Mike Holbrook is back in the director’s seat, so it’s sure to be a fun-filled couple of hours.
