Norma Jo Turner

Funeral services for Norma Jo Turner, 82, Winnsboro, were held November 8, 2014 at Beaty Funeral Home in Winnsboro with Dr. David Rose and Bro. Charles Ethridge officiating.

Burial was held in Pleasant Grove Memorial Park. Mrs.

Turner passed away November 5, 2014 at her residence. She was born in the Coke Community outside Winnsboro on October 24, 1932 to the late Frank and Carrie (Gilbreath) Galloway. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Winnsboro.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Edward Glen Galloway and Bonnie Frank Galloway; and three husbands, Mr. Dwayne Birdsong in 1978, Mr. Al Zimmerman in 1989, and Mr. Charles "Charlie" Turner in June of 2014.

Survivors include daughter, Cindy Weems and Kenny of Winnsboro; son, Galen Birdsong and Elena of Winnsboro; brothers, Loris Galloway of Winnsboro, Jerry Galloway of Winnsboro; sister, Dorothy Phillips of Quitman, six grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren. Memorials can be made to: First Baptist Church Building Fund or Pine Street Baptist Church Building Fund.
