Robbie Anna Burns Bass, 1923-2019
ALBA – Graveside services for Robbie Anna Burns Bass, 95, of Alba, were Monday, Jan. 7 at Foster Cemetery in Foster, Okla., under direction of Wooster Funeral Home, Elmore City, Okla., with Pastor Joe Caballero officiating. There was a visitation at the Bass home in Alba on Saturday, Jan. 5, Local arrangements were under the direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.
Mrs. Bass passed away Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2019, at her residence in Alba.
She was born March 20, 1923, in Jacksonville, to the late Robin and Carrie Ann Wilburn Burns. She married Bervin Harlen Bass June 7, 1944, in Dallas. She retired from Standard Brands and moved to Bonham. She was always dedicated to her family and she loved gardening and ranching. She lived the last 18 years in Wood County and was a Baptist.
Survivors include her son, Larry Bass of Alba; daughter, Sharon Kelley of Montague; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bervin Harlen Bass; and sister, Alice Tackitt.
