MINEOLA-Funeral service for Ronald “Ron” Dyess, 62 of Hainesville was held Wednesday, August 8 at Lake Fork Baptist Church with Perry Crisp officiating. Burial followed at Concord Cemetery.
Mr. Dyess died August 5, 2018, in Tyler. He was born January 6, 1956, in Levelland, Texas to Billy and Cliffie Dyess Tucker. He was a member of Lake Fork Baptist Church in Alba and was a retired Baptist Minister and funeral director.
He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Wayne Dyess.
Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Janice Dyess; son, Matt Dyess, Hughes Springs; mother, Cliffie Tucker; sister, Cecillia Garrett; two grandchildren and nieces, nephews and friends and extended family.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make a donation in memory of Ron to Rose of Texas Hospice, East Texas Hospice or Lake Fork Baptist Church building fund.
