Ruby “Joyce” Jobe

MINEOLA-Funeral services for Ruby “Joyce” Jobe, 75 of Mineola were held October 2 at the New Hope Baptist Church in Mineola. Burial followed at New Hope Cemetery.

Mrs. Jobe died September 28, 2018, in Tyler. She was born May 23, 1943 in Dallas to the late Carl and Jessie Dykes.

She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and operated a day care at her home.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Tommy and Jackie Dykes.

Survivors include her husband, Billy Jobe; two son, Carl Grimes, Kilgore, Jason Jobe, Wills Point; two daughters, Joy Hullett, Lindale and Melissa Grimes of Tyler; sister, Bettye Greeney, Tyler; seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
