Rural, Set, Go June 7

The Rural, Set, Go: Boost for Wood County is set for June 7 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Instant Offices of Texas, 214 E. Goode Street next door to Quitman Public Library.

This program is an information and networking forum focused on addressing Wood County workforce needs. It is co-sponsored by the Wood County Economic Development Commission and Workforce Solutions East Texas.

It is open to businesses, educators, school districts and community organizations in area rural counties.

“This is a great event where you can network and get in on conversation and planning for economic growth in Wood County,” WCEDC Executive Director Christophe Trahan said.

Special Olympics returns in style

Symphonic band presents Christmas concert
