Funeral services for Mary Joyce Van Cleave, 78, Quitm a n were held May 3, 2013 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel of the Chimes in Quitman with Reverend Terry Davis officiating. Burial was held in Concord Cemetery.

Mrs. Van Cleave passed away April 30, 2013.

She was born March 7, 1935 to Herbert and Elsie Finley. She attended Grand Prairie High School and graduated as Valedictorian and worked for Dallas Water Department. She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Kimberly Joyce Williams and granddaughter, Alysha Van Cleave, 5 brothers and 1 sister. Survivors include her husband Ira Van Cleave, Quitman; son, Fred Van Cleave and Carrie, Mineola; daughters, Kathy Bayliss, Tyler, Karen Van Cleave, Quitman; sisters, Patsy Brown, Edgewood, and Fern York, Crandall, 10 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
