Sandra Barry 1956-2019

Memorial services for Sandra Gail Barry, 62, of Quitman were Saturday, Aug. 17 at Lowe Funeral Home with Larry Tucker officiating.

Sandra died Monday afternoon, Aug. 12, 2019, in Quitman.

She was born Sept. 6, 1956 in Garland to Bill and Jean Cummons. She was the manager of Wood County Carpet in Quitman for many years, a member of the Old Settler’s Club, and a member of Hubbard Chapel Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Gary; and husband, David.

Survivors include her daughter, Amy Posch of Quitman; brother, Terry Cummons of Quitman; and two grandchildren.

Special Olympics returns in style

Symphonic band presents Christmas concert

Concerts are Sunday, Dec. 17, at 2 p.m. and Tuesday evening, Dec. 19, at 7:30 p.m. Mike Holbrook is back in the director’s seat, so it’s sure to be a fun-filled couple of hours.
