Sharon Renae McGee  1964-2022

Sharon Renae McGee of Mineola, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, opened her eyes in Heaven on July 11, 2022. Sharon was born in Pasadena, Texas on Dec. 22, 1964 to the late Gaines L. Davis and Geraldine Higginbothom Davis. Sharon grew up in Deer Park and moved to Colorado and finally finished high school in West Brunswick, N.C., Class of 1983. Her career saw her as a supervisor for Farmers Insurance, teaching children in Brenham, Wyo. and lastly worked in medical billing for Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler. Sharon loved dipping her toes in the water at the beach, snow skiing, reading books and most importantly taking care of her husband and sons.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Larry McGee; stepmother, Linda Davis; sons, Terrell McGee, Colby McGee and wife Elizabeth, Bransten McGee and Colten McGee; brothers, Gary Manley, Mike Davis and Tim Davis; sisters, Gena Davis, Carla Manley and Linda Whitten; and grandchildren, Riley McGee, Aubrey McGee, Trinity McGee, Khloee McGee, Phoebe McGee and Mila McGee.

A service of remembrance will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Beaty Funeral Home of Mineola.
