The County 4-H Round-Up was held March 25 with a great group of 4-H’ers doing presentations and speeches. These 4-H members will now be able to advance to the District 4-H Round- Up event at SFA in Nacogdoches.

WOOD COUNTY 4-H ROUND-UP
The County 4-H Round-Up was held March 25 with a great group of 4-H'ers doing presentations and speeches. These 4-H members will now be able to advance to the District 4-H Round- Up event at SFA in Nacogdoches. The members and their presentation categories were: Jentri Jackson-Beef Anna Carter-Horse Luke Kindle-AG/Natural Resources Courtney Menne-Public Speaking Cynthia Ojeda-Share-the-Fun/ Dance Mia Backer-Share-the-Fun/Instrumental Blaine Moore-Ag Mechanics/ Open Division Curtis Perkins-AG/Natural Resources Ahneka Tullos-Goats Jenna Haney-Share-the-Fun/Poetry
Wood County 4-H will also have Entomology teams and Horse Quiz Bowl teams at District
Round-Up. The District 4-H Fashion Show will also be held in conjunction with Round-Up, and Mia Backer will be competing in the Construction category with an outfit she made herself. We also have entries in the Fashion Duct Tape Design and Decorated Shoe contests. Everyone has been practicing very hard to prepare for these contests. We are going to have lots of great results to announce after Round-Up.
