Storm topples tree
A powerful thunderstorm hit Wood County just before dawn on Wednesday, knocking down trees and power lines and interrupting electrical service to 80 customers in Wood County, according to Wood County Electric Cooperative. Here, a massive pine tree was blown over at a house on Mimosa Street in Mineola. A crew was removing the tree Wednesday afternoon. (Monitor photo by Hank Murphy).
