Symphony ringing in the holiday season
Ring in the holidays with a concert of Christmas favorites performed by Mineola’s Lake Country Symphonic Band.
Under the baton of Music Director Mike Holbrook, the 65-member community band will present two concerts at the Historic Select Theater in Mineola: Sunday, Dec. 15 at 2 p.m. and Tuesday, Dec. 17 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for children 11 and under.
Reservations are essential as these concerts fill up quickly.
Among the pieces being played are Carol of the Drum, Three Ships, Celtic Holy Night, A Christmas Festival, Three Kings and the Trans Siberian Orchestra’s Wizards in Winter. Additionally, Santa will make an appearance sometime during the concert.
