The Quitman Garden Club plans to offer red oak, red maples and dogwood seedlings for just $1. On Saturday, February 15, these $1 seedlings will be available on a first come, first serve basis at the pavilion in Gov. Hogg Park from 10am to 1pm.

The Quitman Garden Club plans to offer red oak, red maples and dogwood seedlings for just $1.
On Saturday, February 15, these $1 seedlings will be available on a first come, first serve basis at the pavilion in Gov. Hogg Park from 10am to 1pm. There will be planting demonstrations at 10:30, 11:30 and 12:30.
"This is an Arbor Day project for the club to enable citizens to replace trees lost to drought and to beautify our area," said Jean Fox, a representative of the Quitman Garden Club.
