Mineola Country Club announces 2016 Club Champions
The Mineola Country Club held their club championships during the past month and their 2016 club champions have been named.
The club held their Senior Golf Association Championships Sept. 19-20 with Elroy Doggett coming out on top as the 2016 SGA champion. Steve Raley was the low net and David Radcliff won Super Senior.
In the first flight, Billy Webb Sr. took the low gross and Ray Black took the low net. Mike Casselman was the low gross and Jo Deane Sherrill was the low net in the second flight. In the third flight, Deb Casburn was the low gross and Harvey Carraway was the low net.
On Oct. 1-2, the club held their Men’s Gold Association Championship. Chad Hutchins won the day and took home the title. Jim Pickens won the Senior award and Greg Bartz won Super Senior. Shawn McQuilliams won the first flight, John Spanko the second flight and Jamie Davlin the third flight.
The Ladies’ Golf Association held their championships Oct. 15-16 and familiar face Dayna Sadler won the title. Mary Ann Robbins was the low net and Jo Deane Sherrill won the Senior award and Deb Casburn the Super Senior award.
