There will be a Buddy Scheolkopf Reunion Sept. 14 at 10:45 a.m. at Paredes Restaurant in Mineola. All former employees and friends are invited to attend.

Bread of Life Ministries will host Breakfast with a Heart Saturday, Sept. 14 from 7-9:30 a.m. at the Broad Street Church of Christ in Mineola.

Cub Scout Pack 385 will be having their School Night for Scouting meeting Thursday 6:30-8pm at the Methodist Ministry Center on Newsome Street. Scouts is open to male and female enrolled in kindergarten through senior in public or private school or homeschool. You can sign up for scouts anytime throughout the year.

Special Olympics returns in style

Symphonic band presents Christmas concert

Come on over to Mineola’s beautiful Historic Select Theater and hear the Lake Country Symphonic Band’s Christmasy “Everything Christmas” concert.

Concerts are Sunday, Dec. 17, at 2 p.m. and Tuesday evening, Dec. 19, at 7:30 p.m. Mike Holbrook is back in the director’s seat, so it’s sure to be a fun-filled couple of hours.
