Wood County TX Genealogy Society’s next regular meeting will be Monday, Oct. 21 at 5 p.m. at the Quitman Public Library. The speaker will be Logan Thompson, who researched articles on the time capsule placed in the cornerstone of the old Mineola Post Office in 1936. He will have on display some of the metal detecting items he has found.
