Two more COVID-19 deaths in Mineola
The Wednesday report from the Northeast Texas Public Health District has recorded two additional deaths in the Mineola area from COVID-19. That makes three for the 75773 ZIP code and eight for Wood County.
The Wednesday total of 276 total cases is an increase of 14 from Tuesday, including seven new cases for Mineola, which is up to 116.
There are 142 cases of the viral disease that are considered active and 126 patients recovered, plus the eight deaths.
The state reports 1,426 county residents have been tested for the viral disease.
