Ulysses S. Grant Belcher, Jr.

LINDALE - Funeral services for Ulysses Belcher, 92 of Lindale were held October 10 at Beaty Funeral Home, Mineola with James Nahaas officiating.

Burial followed at Sand Springs Cemetery in Mineola.

Mr. Belcher died October 6, 2018, in Van. He was born August 31, 1926, in Wood County to the late Ulysses and Eve Belcher.

He was a retired farmer and member of the Jehovah’s Witness Church in Mineola.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sons, Jerry and James Belcher.

Survivors include his wife of 72 years, Odessa Mae Belcher of Lindale; daughter, Neta Conaway of Tyler; sister, Billie Elle of Albuquerque, New Mexico; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
