Virus case count increases by seven in Wood County
Late Tuesday, the Northeast Texas Public Health District reported Wood County's number of total cases for COVID-19 had increased by seven since Monday, bringing the total to 89.
There have been 56 new cases since June 2.

Virus case count increases by seven in Wood County
Late Tuesday, the Northeast Texas Public Health District reported Wood County's number of total cases for COVID-19 had increased by seven since Monday, bringing the total to 89.
There have been 56 new cases since June 2.
The number of active cases also rose by seven to 29, with recovered cases remaining at 55 and deaths at five.
The new cases included three in Winnsboro, two in Mineola and one each in the Alba and Hawkins ZIP codes.
Three were in the 21-40 age group and three in the 41-59 range.
Four were females and three males, with a total of 51 females and 38 males.
The county had its first case April 1 and reached 10 on May 2. The count passed 20 on May 19 and 30 on June 2.
The state reports 952 county residents have been tested for the disease. Two testing sites were held in the county last week.
