Wanda Lee Oliver, 1933-2019

A graveside service for Wanda Lee Oliver, 85, of Winnsboro will be held at Bexar County Cemetery at a later date.

She passed away Wednesday morning, February 13, 2019, at her home.

Wanda was born in Oklahoma on June 18, 1933, to Andrew and Edna Mae (Phillips) Jackson. She moved to Winnsboro from Lytle in 2005. She was a member of Pine Street Baptist Church and was very active in the Fidelis Sunday School Class. Wanda was a homemaker and loved cooking and baking, doing yard work, and playing with her grandkids. In the past she also loved to paint with her best friend and neighbor Ruby Nell Azlin.

Wanda is preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Edna Jackson; husband, JW Oliver in 2003; four brothers; one sister; and two sons, Allen Oliver and Jim Oliver.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Jerry Oliver of Arlington; daughter, Joyce Azlin of Winnsboro; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
