Wanda Lynn Todd, 1939-2020

Wanda Lynn Todd, 80, of Quitman passed away on April 4, 2020, in Quitman. She was born in El Dorado, Ark. on Dec. 18, 1939 to Orris Mack and Ann Mae (McGarity) Bull. On July 3, 1958 she married Lamar C. Todd. She was of the Baptist faith and was a proud homemaker as well as bookkeeper and manager for the family company Quitman Pump and Supply, an oil field supply business.

On Tuesday, April 7, 2020, she was laid to rest next to her husband in the Quitman Cemetery with her immediate family attending a private service officiated by her nephew, Sid Todd.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and great-grandson, Micah Mason Gray. Surviving family includes son, Stanley Lamar Todd of Quitman; daughters, Joanna Casburn and husband Chris of Quitman, Laura Leigh Koss and husband Ricky of Troup and Leta Elizabeth Pixley and husband Robert of Livingston; brother, Sonny Bull of Quitman; 10 grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren.

Special Olympics returns in style

Symphonic band presents Christmas concert
