The Quitman Lady Bulldogs fell to Winnsboro last week at the new Ball Parks in Winnsboro facility.
The Winnsboro Lady Raiders scored three runs in the first inning and held on to beat Quitman 6-2 in a District 13-3A contest.

Winnsboro too much for Lady Bulldogs
The Quitman Lady Bulldogs fell to Winnsboro last week at the new Ball Parks in Winnsboro facility.
The Winnsboro Lady Raiders scored three runs in the first inning and held on to beat Quitman 6-2 in a District 13-3A contest. Winnsboro’s Rylee Stephens held the Lady Bulldogs to just four hits in the win. The Lady Bulldogs hurt themselves with four errors, but made a valiant effort to come back.
Quitman got a pair of runs in the second inning, but that was all as Winnsboro added two runs in the fourth and one more in the fifth.
Alexis O’Neal led Quitman with two hits while Reiny Luman and Carly Spears each had a base hit and one RBI for Quitman. Winnsboro had 11 hits and the Lady Raiders committed three errors.
Quitman left nine runners on base.
