Maxine Nussman was crossing E. Broad Street from the south side when she was struck in the westbound lane by a vehicle driven by Larry Dewayne Cook of Mineola, according to police.

Woman struck by vehicle on East Broad Street
A 63-year-old Mount Enterprise woman was struck by an automobile in the 100 block of E. Broad Street on Feb. 12 and was taken to UT-Tyler Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, according to Mineola police.
The accident occurred at about 7:15 p.m. Maxine Nussman was crossing E. Broad Street from the south side when she was struck in the westbound lane by a vehicle driven by Larry Dewayne Cook of Mineola, according to police.
Upon investigation, it was determined – with the assistance of witnesses – that Nussman did not use the crosswalk when crossing the roadway.
