Women’s retreat set at Quitman church

The First United Methodist Church of Quitman is having a women’s retreat Saturday, Oct 16, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Tickets are $25 with lunch included featuring Dr. Trae Kendrick of Crawford, who is an experienced retreat leader and active in women’s prison ministry. 

The theme of the retreat is Gratitude Grace and Glory. “This is just the voice of hope we need in these challenging times,” said Mary Ann Nichols, one of the retreat organizers.
