Deputies were dispatched to Greenbriar Trail near Hawkins around 9:25 a.m. to an inquest. A male, 97 was found deceased in his residence. The Justice of the Peace did not order an autopsy.

Deputies responded to a suspicious person on Winnsboro St. in Quitman about 9:51 a.m. They searched but were unable to locate the person.

Deputies spoke with a person around 10:03 a.m. on criminal trespass that occurred on CR 4287 near Winnsboro. They gave the person advice and cleared the incident.

Deputies spoke with a person around 5:28 p.m. in reference to theft that occurred on CR 1477 near Quitman. Someone stole a bronze plate from the person’s father’s gravesite.

At 9:15 p.m. deputies went on an arrest/warrant service to Glazner St. in Hawkins. They searched but could make contact with the person.

Deputies were dispatched to HWY 37 near Quitman around 9:37 p.m. on a reckless driver. They searched but were unable to locate the vehicle.

DECEMBER 17, 2018

Deputies were dispatched to FM 69 near Winnsboro around 8:28 a.m. on a criminal mischief. They told the reporting person that extra patrol would be provided.

Deputies spoke with the reporting person at about 11:45 a.m. in reference to harassment on Village Circle in Alba. They gave the reporting person advice and cleared the incident.

At about 4:03 p.m. deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle on CR 2906 near Mineola. They searched but could not locate the vehicle.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 2157 near Quitman about 4:43 p.m. on criminal trespass. They spoke with all involved and cleared the incident.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 3955 near Mineola about 1:24 a.m. on an assault. The case is active.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 3450 near Hawkins about 5:53 a.m. on an alarm. They located an open door, cleared the residence and everything was OK.

Deputies spoke with a person about 8:31 a.m. in reference to a reckless driver on CR 3947 near Hawkins. They advised the reporting person that extra patrol would be provided.

Deputies were dispatched on FM 155 near Alba around 9:11 a.m. on criminal trespass. They spoke with everyone and cleared the incident.

At around 2:45 p.m. deputies were dispatched to Alba Golden School on an alarm. They determined it was accidental and cleared the scene.

Deputies were dispatched to PR 8000 near Hawkins around 3:09 p.m. on a burglary. Someone broke into the reporting person’s residence and stole several items. The case was forwarded to investigators.

At 9:58 p.m. deputies went out on an arrest/warrant service on CR 3750 near Hawkins. David Wright, 63, of Hawkins, was arrested for an outstanding warrant.

Deputies were dispatched to Hwy 80 near Mineola around 1:50 a.m. on an abandoned vehicle. They searched but were unable to locate the vehicle.

Deputies spoke with the reporting person about 7:58 a.m. on theft that occurred on CR 3440 near Hawkins. Someone stole several items from the reporting person’s son residence.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 2360 near Mineola about 9:52 a.m. on an assault. The case was forwarded to investigators.

Deputies were dispatched to FM 2869 near Hawkins about 11:42 a.m. on a burglary. Someone stole several items from the reporting person’s storage building. The case was forwarded to investigators.

Deputies were dispatched to 3234 near Quitman at about 12:26 p.m. on criminal mischief. They located the damaged fence but were unable to locate the owner of the property.
