Wood County has fourth COVID-19 death, all in Winnsboro
The daily dashboard from NETHealth on Wednesday shows Wood County with its fourth death from COVID-19, and all four have been in the Winnsboro ZIP code.
The case count rose by two since yesterday, reaching 40. Recoveries total 21 which leaves an active case count of 15.
Both new cases are from Winnsboro.
The number of county residents tested for the viral disease, according to state figures, has reached 637.
Half the cases are age 60 and above, and 22 are women, with 18 men.
