Reports from the Wood County Sheriff’s office between Dec. 13 and 19 included the following:

Dec. 18 - Deputies were dispatched to County Road 3273 near Quitman at 6:46 p.m. on an assault that occurred. Mary Hopp, 72 of Quitman was arrested for assault causing bodily injury family violence.

Deputies spoke with a person at 5:17 p.m. on a theft that occurred on CR 2170 near Quitman. Thieves stole a bumper pull trailer from the property. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

Deputies went out on a warrant service to CR 3333 near Emory at 8:04 a.m. Patricia Perea, 17, of Emory was arrested for outstanding warrants.

Dec. 17 - Deputies were dispatched to CR 3203 near Quitman at 2:40 a.m. on an assault. Andrea Clayton, 41 Quitman was arrested for assault causing bodily injury family violence. James Clayton, 54, of Quitman, was arrested for the same charges.

Dec. 15 - Deputies responded to a report of a suspicious person on CR 2377 near Alba at 7:47 p.m. Steven Schwed, 31 of Alba was arrested for outstanding warrants, resisting arrest, possession of marijuana, and assault of a public servant.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 2275 near Mineola at 7:28 p.m. on an unlawful disclosure of intimate material. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

Deputies were dispatched to Farm-to-Market 2869 near Hawkins at 5:14 p.m. on a disturbance. A criminal trespass warning was issued.

Deputies spoke with a person at 12:47 p.m. on a scam that occurred on Highway 154 near Yantis. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

Deputies spoke with a person at 10:35 a.m. on fraud that occurred on CR 2200 near Mineola. This case is active.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 2157 near Quitman at 9:00 a.m. on theft. Thieves stole several items from the residence. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

Dec. 14 - Deputies spoke with the reporting party at 8:35 p.m. on fraud that occurred on CR 4471 near Winnsboro. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

Dec. 13 - Deputies spoke with a person at 1:24 p.m. on a theft that occurred on Greenbriar Trail near Hawkins. A thief stole a firearm from the reporting party.
