Wood County Sheriff’s Department activities June 13 and June 19

June 19 – At approximately 2:44 a.m. deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle on CR 2263 near Mineola. Deputies located the vehicle and the person was taken to the emergency room.

At around 5:49 a.m. deputies received a reckless driver call to FM 2869 near Hawkins. They were unable to locate the vehicle.

Deputies were dispatched to Parrish Street in Hawkins about 6:30 a.m. in reference to a stabbing. The case was forwarded to another agency.

Deputies spoke with the reporting party about 10:35 a.m. about harassment that occurred on CR 2935 near Alba. They gave advice and cleared the incident.

At about 11:28 a.m. deputies spoke with a reporting person on PR 6645 near Alba regarding harassment. The case was forwarded to investigators.

Deputies were dispatched to PR 8257 near Quitman approximately 11:34 in reference to criminal trespass. Deputies searched the area, but could not locate the person.

At around 12:34 p.m. deputies spoke with a person in reference to fraud on CR4940 near Winnsboro. Actors or actors unknown used the person’s credit/debit card without authorization. The case Is active.

Deputies spoke with a reporting party about 12:41 p.m. in reference to an assault that occurred on FM 515 near Quitman. The case was forwarded to investigators.

Deputies were dispatched to Hwy 80 near Hawkins around 1:55 p.m. in reference to theft. A known person stole several items from the person’s property. The case was forwarded to investigators.

Deputies spoke with a reporting party about 3:15 p.m. in reference to harassment on CR 1970 near Yantis. Deputies gave reporting party advice and cleared the incident.

Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle on CR 1660 near Alba around 5:57 p.m. the vehicle was located and OK.

Caleb Brumfield, 28 of Tyler was arrested for an outstand warrant on Hwy 37 near Quitman around 7:57 p.m.

An abandoned vehicle was reported on CR3980 near Winnsboro at 11:04 p.m. Deputies located it and everything was OK

June 18 – Darion Land, 44 of Mineola was arrested for driving while license invalid about 12:29 a.m. when deputies conducted a traffic stop on Hwy 80 near Mineola.

A suspicious circumstance was reported on CR2330 near Mineola. Deputies were unable to locate any suspicious activity.

Deputies were dispatched to FM 17 near Alba around 1:22 p.m. in reference to criminal mischief. Actors or actors unknown damaged the reporting party’s business sign on the side of the road.

Deputies spoke with a person at approximately 2:10 p.m. in reference to theft that occurred on Main St., in Yantis. Deputies gave the reporting party advice and left.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 4116 near Quitman around 7:44 p.m. in reference to a reckless driver. Deputies were unable to locate the vehicle.

Deputies were dispatched to Hwy 80 near Hawkins around 7:47 p.m. in reference to a disturbance. Parties were separated for the night.

June 17 – Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Glazner Street in Hawkins around 12:49 a. m. Jalen West, 24 of Spring Harris was arrested for display wrong, fictitious, altered or obscured motor vehicle.

Deputies spoke with the reporting party about 1:42 a.m. in reference to harassment that occurred on CR 2336 near Mineola. They gave the reporting party advice and left the scene.

Deputies were dispatched to FM 14 near Quitman around 10:21 a.m. in reference to a welfare check. Deputies located the person and everything was OK.

Deputies responded to a suspicious person on CR 2153 near Quitman at approximately 11:46 a.m. They located the person and everything was OK.

Thomas Walls, 27, Mineola was arrested for an outstanding warrant when deputies were on an arrest/warrant service to CR 3877 near Hawkins around 6:18 p.m.

Deputies spoke with a person at 7:32 p.m. in reference to harassment that occurred on PR 6645 near Mineola. Deputies gave the person advice and cleared the incident.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 1670 near Alba around 9:28 p.m. in reference to a disturbance. The parties were separated for the night.

Deputies were dispatched to FM 2225 near Quitman around 11:42 p.m. in reference to a disturbance. Parties were separated for the night.

Deputies were dispatched to Hwy 37 near Quitman about 11:54 p.m. in reference to a burglary. Actor or actors unknown stole jewelry from the reporting party’s residence. The case was forwarded to investigators.

June 16 – Deputies responded to a suspicious person on CR 1602 near Alba around 1:11 a.m. The deputies provided a courtesy transport and cleared the incident.

A reckless driver report was made around 4:56 p.m. on CR 1880 near Yantis. Deputies were unable to locate the vehicle.

Deputies were dispatched to FM 2659 near Hawkins around 6:09 p.m. in reference to a disturbance. Deputies spoke with the reporting party and cleared the incident. And at 7:07 p.m. deputies received a report of a reckless driver on Hwy 37. Deputies were unable to locate the vehicle.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 1427 near Quitman about 7:13 p.m. in reference to a disturbance. Parties were separated for the night.

At about 7:23 p.m. deputies searched the area on 3144 regarding a noise complaint. Deputies searched but were unable to locate any activity.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 2153 near Quitman around 8:09 p.m. in reference to an assault that occurred. The case was forwarded to investigators.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 2370 near Alba around 8:49 p.m. in reference to a dispute. Parties involved were separated for the night.

Deputies responded to a suspicious person on CR 3220 near Quitman around 9:43 p.m. they searched the area but were unable to locate the person.

June 15 – Nolan Carter, 36 of Ringgold, Louisiana was arrested for silent/abusive call/electronic communication to 911 service and possession of drug paraphernalia when deputies were dispatched to CR 1515 near Alba around 3:50 a.m. on a suspicious circumstance.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 2260 near Mineola about 3:23 p.m. in reference to a dispute. Deputies spoke with all and cleared the incident.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 4494 near Winnsboro about 4:51 p.m. in reference to a disturbance. The parties were separated for the night.

Deputies spoke with the reporting party around 5:52 p.m. in reference to a noise complaint on CR 3120 near Quitman. They gave the reporting party advice and cleared the incident.

Deputies were dispatched to Hwy 154 near Yantis about 8:01 p.m. in reference to a reckless driver. Deputies were unable to locate the vehicle.

June 14- Deputies were dispatched to FM 14 near Hawkins about 7:40 a.m. in reference to criminal mischief. Actors or actors unknown damaged the reporting party’s vehicle.

Deputies were dispatched to Holly Hill Circle near Hawkins about 1:52 p.m. in reference to an assault. The case was forwarded to investigators

Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle on CR 2906 near Mineola around 7:47 p.m. Deputies were unable to locate the vehicle.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 2950 near Mineola about 10:13 p.m. in reference to a reckless driver. Deputies were unable to locate the vehicle.

Deputies responded to a suspicious person on CR 2258 near Mineola about 10:06 p.m. Deputies could not locate the person.

Natalie Robinson, 46 of Sulphur Springs was arrested for driving while intoxicated with open alcoholic container when deputies conducted a traffic stop on FM 2225 near Yantis about 11:45 p.m.

June 13 – Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle on CR 1610 near Alba about 12:14 a.m. Deputies located the vehicle and everything was OK.

Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle on FM 515 near Yantis about 1:12 a.m. Deputies assisted the person with changing a flat tire and cleared the incident.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 4930 near Winnsboro about 10:04 a.m. in reference to a reckless driver. They were unable to locate the vehicle.

Deputies spoke with the reporting party about 12:14 p.m. in reference to criminal trespass that occurred on Main St. in Yantis. Deputies gave the reporting party advice and cleared the incident.

Deputies were dispatched to PR 8695 near Winnsboro about 12:59 p.m. in reference to a disturbance. Parties were separated for the night.

Everything was OK When Deputies were dispatched to CR4536 near Winnsboro about 1:45 p.m. for a welfare check.

Deputies spoke with the reporting party at approximately 2:07 p.m. in reference to unlawful restraint that occurred on CR 1670 near Alba. The case was forwarded to investigators.

Deputies spoke with the reporting party at 3:33 p.m. in reference to a reckless driver on CR 2432 near Mineola. Deputies advised that extra patrol would be provided.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 4583 near Winnsboro about 6:01p.m. in reference to a dispute. Parties were separated for the night.

Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle on Lake Holbrook each about 10:48 p.m. Deputies located the vehicle and cleared the area.

Klinton Kenner, 24 of Mineola, was arrested for disorderly conduct discharged/display firearm when deputies were dispatched to PR 6645 near Mineola about 11:26 p.m. in reference to a disturbance.
