The Wood County Sheriff’s Department activities for July 25 through July 31, 2018 are:

July 31 - Deputies were dispatched to FM 17 near Alba, at approximately 9:07 a.m., in reference to an alarm. Deputies checked the building and it was secure.

Deputies were dispatched to Main St. in Yantis, at approximately 9:50 a.m., in reference to a reckless driver. Deputies located the individual and advised to have a family member pick the person up.

Deputies were dispatched to HWY 37 near Quitman, at approximately 12:37 p.m., in reference to a theft. A known actor stole and sold the reporting party’s air compressor.

Deputies spoke with the reporting party, at approximately 1:47 p.m., in reference to theft that occurred on CR 2166 near Quitman. Deputies gave the reporting party advice and cleared the incident.

Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle on CR 2260 near Mineola; at approximately 9:36 p.m. Deputies located the vehicle and everything was OK.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 4878 near Winnsboro, at approximately 10:18 p.m., in reference to a burglary. Actors, or actors unknown, stole several items from the reporting party’s residence. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 1681 near Alba, at approximately 10:42 p.m., in reference to suspicious circumstances. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate any suspicious activity.

July 30 - Deputies were dispatched to CR 4200 near Winnsboro, at approximately 7:05 a.m., in reference to an alarm. Deputies checked the building and it was secure.

Deputies were dispatched to HWY 80 near Mineola, at approximately 7:57 a.m., in reference to criminal mischief. A known actor damaged the reporting party’s property. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

Deputies were dispatched to HWY 154 near Quitman, at approximately 10:05 a.m., in reference to suspicious circumstances. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate any suspicious activity.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 3495 near Hawkins, at approximately 10:30 a.m., in reference to a dispute. Deputies spoke with all parties involved, gave them advice and cleared the incident.

Deputies spoke with the reporting party, at approximately 12:31 p.m., in reference to a scam that occurred on CR 1505 near Alba. Deputies gave the reporting party advice and cleared the incident.

Deputies responded to a suspicious person on CR 3420 near Hawkins; at approximately 2:38 p.m. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the individual.

Deputies spoke with the reporting party, at approximately 6:29 p.m., in reference to a theft that occurred on FM 14 near Hawkins. Deputies gave the reporting party advice and cleared the incident.

Deputies were dispatched to Concho near Quitman, at approximately 7:14 p.m., in reference to a reckless driver. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the vehicle.

Deputies were dispatched to FM 2869 near Hawkins, at approximately 7:17 p.m., in reference to a reckless driver. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the vehicle.

Deputies were dispatched to HWY 154 near Yantis, at approximately 10:48 p.m., in reference to a welfare check. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the individual.

July 29 - Deputies were dispatched to PR 6645 near Mineola, at approximately 12:25 a.m., in reference to a noise complaint. Deputies advised the individuals to lower the volume of the music and cleared the incident.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 4890 near Winnsboro, at approximately 1:49 a.m., in reference to a welfare check. Stacey Wyer, 48, of Quitman, was arrested for Possession of Marijuana.

Deputies spoke with the reporting party, at approximately 5:49 a.m., in reference to suspicious circumstances on PR 7869 near Hawkins. Deputies gave the reporting party advice and cleared the incident.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 1859 near Yantis, at approximately 8:31 a.m., in reference to a disturbance. Frederick Bolton, 51, of Yantis, was arrested for Assault by Contact/Family Violence and Resist Arrest Search Transport.

Deputies conducted a traffic stop on CR 1835 near Yantis; at approximately 9:36 a.m. Patricia Raymond, 37, of Sulphur Springs, was arrested for Driving without a License.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 3290 near Quitman, at approximately 10:39 a.m., in reference to a disturbance. Deputies issued a Criminal Trespass Warning, spoke with all parties involved and cleared the incident.

Deputies were dispatched to PR 5675 near Alba, at approximately 5:38 p.m., in reference to a disturbance. Dianna Foreman, 55, of Alba, was arrested for Assault Causes Bodily Injury Family Violence.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 2117 near Quitman, at approximately 7:03 p.m., in reference to a noise complaint. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate any activity.

Deputies were dispatched to PR 6308 near Mineola, at approximately 7:21 p.m., in reference to criminal trespass. Deputies spoke with all parties involved and cleared the incident.

July 28 - Deputies were dispatched to PR 7547 near Hawkins, at approximately 12:25 a.m., in reference to a disturbance. Deputies spoke with all parties involved and cleared the incident.

Deputies were dispatched to FM 14 near Hawkins, at approximately 5:41 a.m., in reference to a disturbance. Gregory Roland, 46, of Hawkins, was arrested for Assault Causes Bodily Injury Family Violence.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 1336 near Quitman, at approximately 11:34 a.m., in reference to a burglary. A known actor damaged and stole several items from the reporting party’s property. Deputies issued a Criminal Trespass Warning, and this case has been forwarded to investigators.

Deputies spoke with the reporting party, at approximately 3:09 p.m., in reference to criminal trespass on FM 852 near Winnsboro. Deputies gave the reporting party advice and cleared the incident.

Deputies were dispatched to PR 6662 near Mineola, at approximately 4:39 p.m., in reference to an alarm. Deputies checked the building and it was secure.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 1559 near Alba, at approximately 6:24 p.m., in reference to a welfare check. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the individual.

Deputies were dispatched to FM 2088 near Quitman, at approximately 8:26 p.m., in reference to criminal trespass. Stuart Bruce, 39, of Winnsboro, was arrested for Criminal Trespass.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 1985 near Yantis, at approximately 10:31 p.m., in reference to shots fired. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate any activity.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 4506 near Winnsboro, at approximately 11:30 p.m., in reference to a welfare check. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the individual.

July 27 - Deputies were dispatched to HWY 154 near Quitman, at approximately 8:06 a.m., in reference to a welfare check. Deputies located the individual and provided a courtesy transport.

Deputies were dispatched to FM 2422 near Mineola, at approximately 12:44 p.m., in reference to a welfare check. Deputies located the individual and everything was OK.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 3581 near Winnsboro, at approximately 1:07 p.m., in reference to a theft. A known actor stole money from the reporting party.

Deputies spoke with the reporting party, at approximately 2:57 p.m., in reference to fraud that occurred on PR 7485 near Hawkins. Deputies gave the reporting party advice and cleared the incident.

Deputies were dispatched to FM 1795 near Hawkins, at approximately 4:36 p.m., in reference to a reckless driver. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the vehicle.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 3130 near Quitman, at approximately 5:18 p.m., in reference to an alarm. Deputies checked the building and it was secure.

Deputies spoke with the reporting party, at approximately 5:35 p.m., in reference to terroristic threat that occurred on CR 2632 near Mineola. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 3191 near Quitman, at approximately 5:47 p.m., in reference to an alarm. Deputies checked the building and it was secure.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 2263 near Mineola, at approximately 8:44 p.m., in reference to a reckless driver. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the vehicle.

Deputies were dispatched to Lake Holbrook point, at approximately 10:48 p.m., in reference to a disturbance. Parties were separated for the night.

Deputies responded to a suspicious person on FM 852 near Winnsboro; at approximately 11:55 p.m. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the individual.

July 26 - Deputies responded to a suspicious person on CR 4560 near Winnsboro; at approximately 2:11 a.m. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the individual.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 1900 near Yantis, at approximately 6:14 a.m., in reference to an alarm. Deputies checked the building and it was secure.

Deputies went out on an arrest/warrant service to CR 2444 near Mineola; at approximately 8:46 a.m. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to make contact with the individual.

Deputies went out on an arrest/warrant service to Gerard St. in Mineola; at approximately 9:23 a.m. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to make contact with the individual.

Deputies went out on an arrest/warrant service to Buchanan St. in Mineola; at approximately 9:31 a.m. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to make contact with the individual.

Deputies went out on an arrest/warrant service to Wren St. in Mineola; at approximately 10:01 a.m. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to make contact with the individual.

Deputies went out on an arrest/warrant service to Blackburn St. in Hawkins; at approximately 10:42 a.m. Krystle Eaton, 35, of Hawkins, was arrested for outstanding warrants.

Deputies spoke with the reporting party, at approximately 6:23 p.m., in reference to harassment on HWY 37 near Mineola. Deputies gave the reporting party advice and cleared the incident.

Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle on FM 2869 near Winnsboro; at approximately 7:23 p.m. Deputies located the vehicle and everything was OK.

Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle on CR 4460 near Winnsboro; at approximately 8:10 p.m. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the vehicle.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 3689 near Hawkins, at approximately 9:21 p.m., in reference to an assault that occurred. James Johnson, 50, of Hawkins, was arrested for Assault Causes Bodily Injury of Family/Household Member – Impede Breathing/Circulation.

Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle on CR 2650 near Mineola; at approximately 9:31 p.m. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the vehicle.

July 25 - Deputies went out on an arrest/warrant service to CR 1895 near Yantis; at approximately 9:36 a.m. Sonja Culp, 39, of Yantis, was arrested for an outstanding warrant.

Deputies went out on an arrest/warrant service to FM 2088 near Quitman; at approximately 10:10 a.m. Brandi Arnold, 37, of Quitman, was arrested for an outstanding warrant.

Deputies spoke with the reporting party, at approximately 10:32 a.m., in reference to a theft that occurred on FM 852 near Winnsboro. Deputies gave the reporting party advice and cleared the incident.

Deputies were dispatched to HWY 154 near Yantis, at approximately 12:13 p.m., in reference to a theft. Actors, or actors unknown, stole several items from the reporting party’s property. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 3950 near Mineola, at approximately 11:27 p.m., in reference to a disturbance. Ryan Williams, 30, of Hawkins, was arrested for Disorderly Conduct, Resist Arrest Search or Transport, Assault of Public Servant and Terroristic Threat against a Public Servant.

Deputies spoke with the reporting party, at approximately 11:32 p.m., in reference to a terrorist threat that occurred on CR 1416 near Quitman. Deputies made contact with all parties involved and cleared the incident.

Between the dates of July 25 and July 31, Wood County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to multiple agency assists that included the following: Police Departments, Van Zandt County, Adult Protective Services, Rains County and Emergency Medical Services.

Between the dates of July 25 and July 31, Wood County Sheriff’s Investigators filed 1 case with the District Attorney, obtained 2 arrest warrants and arrested the individuals.
