Wood County Sheriff’s Report 10-3 through 10-9:

OCT 9 – Deputies went out on an arrest/warrant service to CR 2380 near Mineola at approximately 12:39 a.m. Charles Elliott, Jr., 38, of Alba was arrested for an outstand warrant.

Deputies went out on an arrest/warrant service to CR 4150 near Quitman at around 1:28 a.m. Paulette Henderson, 43, of Quitman was arrested for an outstand warrant.

At about 2:45 a.m. deputies went out on an arrest/warrant service to CR 4529 near Winnsboro. Jonathan McGee, 36 of Winnsboro was arrested for an outstand warrant.

Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle on FM 779 near Alba at about 7:12 a.m. they searched the area but were unable to locate the vehicle.

Deputies were dispatched to FM 2966 near Quitman around 7:51 a.m. in reference to a theft. Actors or actors unknown stole several items from the reporting person’s property. The case was forwarded to investigators.

Deputies spoke with the reporting person at about 10:30 a.m. in reference to identity theft that occurred on CR 1558 near Alba. They gave the reporting person advice and cleared the incident.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 2951 near Alba around 11:59 a.m. in reference to a dispute. They spoke with all parties involved and cleared the incident.

Deputies spoke with the reporting person at about 1:38 p.m. in reference to fraud that occurred on PR 5991 NEAR Yantis. The case was forwarded to investigators.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 4919 near Quitman about 5:13 p.m. in reference to a welfare check. They located the person and everything was OK.

Deputies went out on an arrest/warrant service on Hwy 154 near Yantis about 8:26 p.m. They searched the area but were unable to make contact with the person.

Deputies went out on an arrest/warrant service on 4490 near Winnsboro at about 9:04 p.m. Alex Walls, 24 of Winnsboro was arrested for an outstanding warrant.

Deputies went out on arrest/warrant service to CR 2298 near Mineola at around 11:13 p.m. They searched the area but were unable to make contact with the person.

OCT 8 – Deputies were dispatched to Hwy 80 near Mineola about 1:27 a.m. in reference to criminal trespass. They located the person and determined no criminal trespass occurred.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 2164 near Quitman around 2:24 a.m. in reference to a noise complaint. They searched the area but were unable to locate any activity.

Deputies spoke with the reporting person at around 2:25 p.m. in reference to harassment that occurred on Hwy 80 near Hawkins. They gave the reporting person advice and cleared the incident.

Deputies were dispatched to Hwy 80 near Hawkins around 7:08 p.m. in reference to an assault that occurred. Lakeireia Hart, 18 of Dallas was arrested for disorderly conduct. Valyncia Mallory, 19, Dallas arrested for disorderly conduct; Naudia Dyer, 19 of Dallas was arrested for disorderly conduct; Clemdrea Maxie, 19 of Hawkins arrested for disorderly conduct. Zakeeya Young, 21, Dallas arrested for disorderly conduct; Shantercia Hood, 19, Mesquite arrested for disorderly conduct; Zakoria Robinson 18, Lancaster, arrested for disorderly conduct; Uniqua Spearman 18, Dallas arrested for disorderly conduct.

Deputies were dispatched to PR 7402 near Hawkins around 8:19 p.m. in reference to an assault. The case was forwarded to investigators.

Deputies were dispatched to Hwy 80 near Hawkins around 9:03 p.m. in reference to a disturbance. D’von Duru, 20 of Dallas was arrested for disorderly conduct. T’mya Harris, 18 of Fort worth arrested for disorderly conduct and Eryana Wade, 18 of Fort Worth also arrested for disorderly conduct.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 3114 near Quitman at about 11:04 p.m. in reference to suspicious circumstances. Deputies searched the area but were unable to locate any suspicious acitivity.

OCT 7 – Marilyn McLain, 46 of Alba was arrested for driving while intoxicated when deputies conducted a traffic stop on FM 17 near Alba about 1:21 a.m.

Deputies were dispatched to Main Street in Yantis around 2:19 a.m. in reference to suspicious circumstances. They located the suspicious activity and everything was OK.

Deputies spoke with the reporting person at approximately 11:13 a.m. in reference to a scam. They gave the reporting person advice and cleared the incident.

Deputies were dispatched to Hwy 37 near Mineola about 11:24 a.m. in reference to a noise complaint. They located the people and advised them to lower the volume of the music.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 1917 near Yantis around 12:59 p.m. in reference to an abandoned vehicle. Deputies located it and everything was ok.

Deputies were dispatched to FM 1804 near Mineola around 3:06 p.m. in reference to an inquest. A male, 86 was found deceased in his residence. The Justice of the Peace arrived and no autopsy was ordered.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 1681 near Alba around 4:34 p.m. in reference to a disturbance. They spoke with all parties involved and cleared the incident.

OCT. 6 – Deputies responded to a suspicious person on FM 69 near Quitman around 12:36 a.m. They searched the area but were unable to locate anyone.

Deputies were dispatched to FM 779 near Mineola about 1:37 a.m. in reference to a noise complaint. They searched the area but were unable to locate any activity.

Deputies were dispatched to Hwy 154 near Quitman around 2:03 a.m. in reference to suspicious circumstance. They searched the area but were unable to locate any suspicious activity.

Deputies were dispatched to Hwy 154 near Yantis around 2:16 a.m. in reference to a reckless driver. They located the vehicle and everything was OK.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 2840 near Mineola around 2:55 a.m. in reference to a noise complaint. They searched the area but were unable to locate any activity.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 2195 near Quitman around 5:13 p.m. in reference to a disturbance. They searched the area but were unable to locate the actor. The case was forwarded to investigators.

Deputies went on an arrest/warrant service to CR 2142 near Quitman about 9:12 p.m. They searched the area but were unable to make contact with the person.

Deputies went out to Hwy 37 near Winnsboro on an arrest/warrant service about 9:53 p.m. they searched but were unable to make contact with the person.

OCT. 5 – Deputies were dispatched to CR 1912 near Yantis at about 2:24 a.m. in reference to a welfare check. They located the people and everything was OK.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 1560 near Alba at approximately 9:24 a.m. in reference to terroristic threat. They spoke with everyone involved and the incident was cleared.

Deputies spoke with the reporting person at about 10:28 a.m., in reference to stalking. The case was forwarded to investigators.

Deputies were dispatched to Holiday Village condos at about 12:50 p.m. in reference to theft. Someone, known or unknown, stole license plates from the reporting person’s boat.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 3859 near Hawkins around 12:57 p.m. in reference to a dispute. They issued a criminal trespass warning and cleared the incident.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 3427 near Hawkins about 2:16 p.m. in reference to a welfare check. They located the person and everything was OK.

Deputies were dispatched to College Street in Alba around 4:55 p.m. in reference to a disturbance. Those involved were separated for the night.

Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle on FM 515 near Yantis around 5 p.m. The vehicle was towed by Wyatt’s Towing.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 1885 near Yantis around 5:30 p.m. in reference to a theft. Someone, known or unknown, stole the reporting person’s boat. The case has been forwarded to investigators.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 3440 near Hawkins around 8:23 p.m. in reference to a dispute. Those involved were separated for the night.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 4930 near Quitman around 8:23 p.m. in reference to suspicious circumstances. They located the suspicious activity and cleared the area.

Deputies were dispatched to Raymer Street in Hawkins at about 9:58 p.m. in reference to criminal trespass. They issued a criminal trespass warning and cleared the incident.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 4893 near Winnsboro around 10:05 p.m. in reference to suspicious circumstances. They located the suspicious activity and everything was OK.

OCT. 4 – Deputies were dispatched to Hwy 80 near Hawkins around 1:31 a.m. in reference to a disturbance. Algernon Lee, 21, of Converse, was arrested for disorderly conduct.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 3840 near Hawkins about 4:31 a.m. in reference to suspicious circumstances. They advised the reporting person that extra patrol would be provided.

Deputies went out on an arrest/warrant service to CR 1246 near Quitman at about 9:57 a.m. They searched the area but were unable to make contact with the individual.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 2320 near Mineola around 10:30 a.m. in reference to theft. Someone, known or unknown, stole several items from the reporting person’s property. The case was forwarded to investigators.

Deputies were dispatched to Oak Street in Yantis around 3:04 p.m. in reference to an inquest. A female, 52, was found deceased in her residence. The Justice of the Peace was notified and an autopsy was ordered.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 33147 near Quitman around 6:12 p.m. in reference to an assault. They spoke with all involved and determined an assault did not occur.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 2169 near Quitman at about 8:10 p.m. in reference to a welfare check. They located the person and everything was OK.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 1658 near Alba about 10:21 p.m. in reference to suspicious circumstances. They searched the area but were unable to locate any suspicious activity.

OCT. 3 - Deputies were dispatched to CR 4660 near Winnsboro around 3:14 a.m. in reference to harassment. The case is active.

Deputies were dispatched to FM 312 near Winnsboro at about 8:40 a.m. in reference to a burglary. Actors or actors unknown, broke into the reporting person’s residence and damaged the property. The case was forwarded to investigators.

Roy Shelton, 70 of Quitman was arrested for an outstanding warrant when deputies went out on an arrest/warrant service to Rising Star near Quitman at approximately 9:39 a.m.

Deputies were dispatched to Green Briar near Hawkins around 10:54 a.m. in reference to an assault. The case was forwarded to investigators.

Deputies spoke with the reporting person at about 1:24 p.m. in reference to a theft that occurred on Hwy 154 near Quitman. Actors stole the license plates from the reporting person’s boat.

Deputies were dispatched to Elmwood Path near Hawkins approximately 3 p.m. in reference to a welfare check, they located the person and everything was OK.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 3987 near Winnsboro at about 5:15 p.m. in reference to criminal mischief. A known actor damaged the reporting person’s vehicle. The case was forwarded to investigators.

Deputies spoke with the reporting person at approximately 7:06 p.m. in reference to terroristic threat that occurred on PR 7495 near Hawkins. The case was forwarded to investigators.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 1681 near Alba around 8:22 p.m. in reference to a welfare check. They located the person and everything was OK.
