May 22

Deputies conducted a traffic stop on CR 4870 near Winnsboro at 2:54 a.m. William Luscomb, 38, of Yantis was arrested for outstanding warrants.

Deputies were dispatched to Winding Trail near Hawkins at 5:46 a.m. in reference to criminal trespass. Known actors were in the reporting party’s residence without authorization.

Deputies were dispatched to Holiday Village Drive near Quitman at 12:43 p.m. in reference to a burglary. Someone stole several items from the reporting party’s camper trailer. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

Deputies were dispatched to FM 1804 near Mineola at 1:56 p.m. in reference to theft. Deputies spoke with all parties involved and cleared the incident.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 3588 near Winnsboro at 2:26 p.m. in reference to criminal trespass. Deputies issued a criminal trespass warning and cleared the incident.

Deputies were dispatched to Main Street in Yantis at 2:42 p.m. in reference to criminal trespass. Deputies issued a criminal trespass warning and cleared the incident.

Deputies were dispatched to HWY 154 near Quitman at 2:50 p.m. in reference to a possible assault. This case is active.

May 23

Deputies were dispatched to Pacific Street in Hawkins at 12:39 a.m. in reference to a disturbance. Deputies spoke with all parties involved and they were separated for the night.

Deputies were dispatched to HWY 69 near Mineola at 7:34 a.m. in reference to theft. Someone stole the reporting party’s vehicle. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

Deputies conducted a traffic stop on CR 3811 near Hawkins at 3:17 p.m. Mitchell Beall, 26, of Hawkins was arrested for unlawful possession of a firearm.

May 24

Deputies were dispatched to CR 4570 near Winnsboro at 12:15 p.m. in reference to criminal mischief. Someone damaged the reporting party’s lawnmower.

Deputies conducted a traffic stop on HWY 154 near Quitman at 9:56 p.m. Rocky Hoffman, 32, of Quitman was arrested for alleged possession of a controlled substance.

May 25

Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle on HWY 154 near Yantis at 1:28 a.m. Machan Meade, 22, of Yantis was arrested for alleged public intoxication.

Deputies spoke with the reporting party at 11:56 a.m. in reference to terroristic threat on HWY 37 near Quitman. Deputies gave the reporting party advice and cleared the incident.

Deputies responded to a suspicious person on FM 14 near Quitman at 1:57 p.m. Sean Garza, 30, of Corpus Christi was arrested for alleged possession of a controlled substance.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 3440 near Hawkins at 2 p.m. in reference to a reckless driver. Deputies located the vehicle and cleared the incident.

Deputies spoke with a reporting party at 7:38 p.m. in reference to a possible burglary on CR 3520 near Hawkins. Deputies gave the reporting party advice and cleared the incident.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 3164 near Quitman at 11:56 p.m. in reference to a noise complaint. Deputies advised the individuals to lower the volume of the music and cleared the incident.

May 26

Deputies were dispatched to FM 779 near Alba at 1:23 a.m. in reference to a dispute. Parties were separated for the night.

Deputies were dispatched to FM 49 near Hawkins at 4:14 a.m. in reference to burglary. Someone stole several items from the reporting party’s residence. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 1947 near Yantis at 7:55 a.m. in reference to theft. Someone stole an inflatable raft. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

Deputies responded to a suspicious person on HWY 69 near Mineola at 9:26 a.m. Deputies issued a criminal trespass warning and cleared the incident.

Deputies were dispatched to HWY 37 near Mineola at 9:45 a.m. in reference to a reckless driver. Deputies located the vehicle and cleared the incident.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 1610 near Alba at 6:54 p.m. in reference to a noise complaint. Deputies advised the individuals to lower the volume of the music and cleared the incident.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 2260 near Mineola at 9:50 p.m. in reference to a reckless driver. Conner Henson, 19, of Gilmer was arrested for allegedly driving while intoxicated.

May 27

Deputies were dispatched to FM 2869 near Hawkins at 8:26 a.m. in reference to a burglary. Someone stole several items from the reporting party’s storage building. This case is active.

Deputies were dispatched to FM 2869 near Hawkins at 8:52 a.m. in reference to a dispute. Parties were separated for the day.

Deputies were dispatched to Lake Holbrook at 1:17 p.m. in reference to theft. Someone stole the reporting party’s phone. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

Deputies were dispatched to FM 779 near Mineola at 1:45 p.m. in reference to criminal mischief. A known person damaged a vehicle. This case is active.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 3340 near Hawkins at 2:48 p.m. in reference to criminal mischief. Someone attempted to break into a residence. This case is active.

May 28

Deputies were dispatched to CR 1416 near Quitman at 9:59 a.m. in reference to criminal mischief. Someone damaged a building. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

Deputies were dispatched to CR 1688 near Alba at 2:54 p.m. in reference to a disturbance. Courtney Menne, 22, of Mineola was arrested for outstanding warrants.

Deputies were dispatched to FM 2088 near Quitman at 11:30 p.m. in reference to a disturbance. Leigh Ann Nipp, 43, of Quitman was arrested for an alleged assault causing bodily injury and family violence.

Between the dates of May 22 and May 28 Wood County Sheriff’s deputies responded to multiple agency assists that included the following: Mineola Police Department, Winnsboro Police Department and Emergency Medical Services. Between the dates of May 22 and May 28 Wood County Sheriff’s investigators obtained one arrest warrant and arrested the individual.
