12:24 a.m. Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle on Loop 564 near Mineola.  Deputies located the vehicle and cleared the incident.

May 27

12:24 a.m. Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle on Loop 564 near Mineola.  Deputies located the vehicle and cleared the incident.

6:28 a.m. Deputies were dispatched to FM 2869 near Winnsboro about a theft. A motorcycle was stolen from the reporting party’s property. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

7:50 a.m. Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle on CR 2306 near Mineola. Deputies located the vehicle and cleared the incident.

12:28 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to CR 2306 near Mineola concerning criminal trespass. Deputies made contact with the reporting party and determined no criminal trespass was committed.

12:59 p.m.  Deputies spoke with the reporting party about a scam on Village Circle near Yantis. Deputies gave the reporting party advice and cleared the incident.

3:33 p.m. Deputies spoke with the reporting party about a possible theft on Hwy. 80 near Hawkins. Deputies gave the reporting party advice and cleared the incident.

4:13 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to Hwy. 154 near Yantis about a dispute. Deputies spoke with all parties involved and they separated for the night.

4:53 p.m. Deputies responded to a suspicious person on CR 2111 near Quitman. Deputies located the individual and cleared the incident.

5:08 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to CR 2128 near Quitman about criminal trespass. Deputies located the individuals and advised them not to fish off of the roadway.

7:53 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to CR 1975 near Yantis concerning a terroristic threat. Deputies made contact with all parties involved and cleared the incident.

11:09 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to CR 1800 near Yantis, about a disturbance. Parties were separated for the night.

May 28

2:35 a.m. Deputies responded to a suspicious person on Hwy. 37 near Quitman. Deputies located the individual and cleared the incident.

12:16 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to CR 2696 near Hawkins about a burglary. Someone broke into the reporting party’s shop and stole several items. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

4:42 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to FM 1795 near Hawkins concerning burglary. Someone cut the lock on the reporting party’s gate and stole several items from the property. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

5:58 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to FM 2088 near Winnsboro concerning theft. Someone stole copper wire from the reporting party’s property. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

6:31 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to CR 4200 near Winnsboro concerning damage to property. A known person damaged the reporting party’s property. 

6:51 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to FM 1795 near Hawkins in reference to a welfare check. The individual was located and transported to the hospital by EMS.

9:28 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to CR 3984 near Quitman about a dispute. Parties were separated for the night.

May 29

12:29 a.m. Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle on Hwy. 154 near Yantis. Heather Crawford, 34, of Quitman, was arrested for driving while intoxicated.

7:33 a.m. Deputies were dispatched to CR 3846 near Hawkins about criminal mischief. Someone damaged the reporting party’s vehicle. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

 11:43 a.m. Deputies were dispatched to CR 2320 near Mineola concerning theft. Someone stole medicine from the reporting party’s property. 

1:00 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to CR 4494 near Winnsboro about a disturbance. Deputies spoke with all parties involved and cleared the incident.

6:36 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to PR 6938 near Alba in reference to a dispute. Parties were separated for the night.

7:14 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to CR 4730 near Winnsboro. Paul Maggard, 41, of Winnsboro, was arrested for assault causes bodily injury-family violence and assault by contact. 

May 30

7:00 a.m., Deputies were dispatched to Hwy. 37 near Quitman about a disturbance. Parties were separated for the day.

2:07 p.m. Deputies spoke with the reporting party about a burglary on CR 3520 near Hawkins. Deputies gave the reporting party advice and cleared the incident.

9:12 p.m. Deputies spoke with the reporting party about criminal trespass on Waterfront near Quitman. Deputies gave the reporting party advice and cleared the incident.

9:17 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to PR 7421 near Hawkins concerning a noise complaint. Deputies located the individuals and advised them to lower the volume of the music.

May 31

12:11 a.m. Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle on CR 2175 near Quitman. Deputies located the vehicle and cleared the incident.

8:28 a.m. Deputies were dispatched to CR 4895 near Winnsboro concerning criminal trespass. Deputies issued a criminal trespass warning and cleared the incident.

10:33 a.m. Deputies were dispatched to CR 1487 near Quitman about criminal trespass. Someone was on the reporting party’s property without authorization.

3:38 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to CR 4530 near Winnsboro about a theft. Someone stole a motorcycle from the reporting party’s property. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

7:20 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to CR 3860 near Hawkins about a theft. Someone stole several items from the reporting party’s vehicle. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

10:16 p.m. Deputies responded to a suspicious person on FM 49 near Hawkins. Deputies located the individual and cleared the incident.

June 1

8:06 a.m. Deputies spoke with the reporting party concerning theft on FM 17 near Alba. Deputies gave the reporting party advice and cleared the incident.

9:29 a.m. Deputies spoke with the reporting party concerning harassment on Hwy. 80 near Mineola. Deputies gave the reporting party advice and cleared the incident.

5:59 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to CR 4150 near Quitman concerning a dispute. Deputies spoke with all parties involved and cleared the incident.

7:14 p.m. Deputies spoke with the reporting party in reference to a scam on CR 2842 near Mineola. Deputies gave the reporting party advice and cleared the incident.

7:22 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to PR 6938 near Alba about a dispute. Deputies spoke with all parties involved and cleared the incident.

7:43 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to Hwy. 154 near Yantis concerning an abandoned watercraft. This case has been forwarded to another agency.

10:10 p.m. Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle on Lake Holbrook point. Deputies located the vehicle and cleared the incident.

11:06 p.m. Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle on FM 14 near Hawkins. Deputies located the vehicle and cleared the incident.

June 2

5:07 p.m. Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle on FM 49 near Mineola. Deputies located the vehicle and cleared the incident.

5:24 p.m., Deputies were dispatched to CR 4925 near Winnsboro about a dispute. Deputies spoke with all parties involved and cleared the incident.

5:45 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to CR 1426 near Quitman concerning a dispute. Deputies spoke with all parties involved and cleared the incident.

5:57 p.m., Deputies were dispatched to CR 4430 near Winnsboro about a disturbance. James Courson, 54, of Winnsboro, was arrested for terroristic threat of family/household.
