Deputy Cole Hudson was dispatched to SH 154 for a disturbance. He discovered it to be a mutual combat, and neither party wished to pursue charges. One group left for the night.

Deputy Bonnie Sepulvado responded to the lobby of the sheriff’s office to speak to a complainant about someone using her car. She stated someone was living on their property. The tenant and landlord made an arrangement regarding a vehicle on the property. The tenant left the property without meeting her terms of the agreement. A report was filed and will be sent to the Criminal Investigation Division (CID) for further investigation.

Deputy Sepulvado met with a reporting party in the lobby regarding stalking. The reporting party stated there is a female who will not stop following him everywhere he goes. He was able to provide proof that he was being stalked. He has also filed a case in another jurisdiction. This case will go to CID.

Deputy Michael Allison responded to a burglary in progress on CR 2501. A woman stated she just located a male inside her residence, but the man fled before she could call 911. The woman stated she heard movement in her residence and got up to see who was there, as it was too early for the cleaning crew. As soon as the man observed her, he ran out of the house. When looking around, she noticed a large wooden display case of jewelry was missing. Nothing else seemed to be disturbed. The case will be forwarded to CID.

Deputy Jon Ritterbach was dispatched to Main Street Estates for a disturbance. Ritterbach and Sgt. Austin Milbourn met with the parties. They all stated there had been drinking going on. Ritterbach went into the residence to speak to another person, and he smelled the odor of marijuana and a saw a glass pipe sitting on the table. During further investigation, Ritterbach learned several people involved were physically assaulted. Due to the confusion on the scene, the report will be forwarded to CID.

June 10

Sgt. Milbourn was notified there was a complainant in the lobby wishing to speak to an officer. Milbourn made contact with the complainant who stated she believed her husband was committing bigamy, living with her cousin while they were still married. She would like CID to further investigate.

June 11

Deputy Andrew Rapp was dispatched to CR 2320 about a neighbor peering into their children’s window.  The homeowner and Rapp watched surveillance video showing the neighbor, wearing boxers and a white undershirt, walking to the bedroom windows of his neighbor’s children. Rapp and Sgt. Milbourn attempted to speak with the suspect, but he refused to talk to them.

June 12

Deputy Allison assisted the Wood County fire marshal at a structure fire on FM 1254.

Deputy Linda Williams responded to Clearwater Trail for a welfare check. The reporting party stated she had not been able to get in contact with her mother. Williams arrived on scene and found the front door open. She attempted to make contact with anyone inside. Since no one responded, she entered the residence and found the mother lying on the floor. EMS was contacted to check on her. She was left in the custody of a family member.

Deputy Corbin Hanner was working routine patrol on CR 2320 when he saw a vehicle with no registration sticker. When he approached the vehicle, he smelled the odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle. The driver was asked to exit the vehicle and confirmed to having marijuana in the vehicle.  Stormie Hope Hasten, 23, of Mineola was arrested for possession of marijuana under 2 oz.

Deputy McKenzie Chandler conducted a traffic stop on Hwy. 182. The driver and passenger exited the vehicle before being asked. Both occupants had warrants from outside agencies. When asked if there was anything illegal in the vehicle, the occupant stated there was methamphetamines. Amanda Blake Dockery, 30, of Paris and Christopher Scott Wilson, 37, of Mabank were arrested for manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance PG 1 over four grams and under 200 grams.

June 13

Deputy Allison went to the Winnsboro emergency room to talk to a complainant about a possible sexual assault. The case was forwarded to CID.

June 14

Deputy Rapp was dispatched to S. Hwy 37 for a disturbance. The reporting party stated she attempted to pass a vehicle, and the driver of the other vehicle became upset. Both vehicles ended up pulled over on the side of the road where the reporting party was assaulted by the other driver. A report was filed but no charges were filed because it was an incident of mutual combat.

Deputy Jaclyn Skinner assisted CID with a transport of two individuals who were arrested on warrants.  While transporting the subjects, one of the individuals attempted to destroy methamphetamines in the back of her vehicle. Curry Morgan Noel, 40, of Winnsboro was charged with tamper/fabricate physical evidence with intent to impair.

Deputy Rapp responded to a disturbance on CR 3909. The victim stated his brother had assaulted him when he said something about music being played too loud. The brother left the scene before officers arrived. The case will be forwarded to CID.

Deputy Jonah Croney took a report on CR 4290. He spoke with the reporting party who stated he was trying to get property from his ex. Croney spoke with the other party and found out an assault had taken place. Due to the lapse of time between the assault and the report, the case will be forwarded to CID.

Deputy Croney was dispatched to Cheyenne for a civil disagreement. After speaking to all parties involved, he learned the dispute was over a dog. He told the individuals they would have to go to civil court.

June 15

Deputy Dustin Green was dispatched to CR 3220 for a criminal trespass complaint. The complainant stated an unknown truck was on her property, and she attempted to confront the driver, but they left when they saw her. Green was able to locate the vehicle, and a criminal trespass warning was given to the owner.
