March 30

Sgt. Jaclyn Skinner, Deputy Brady Gould, CR 1727, verbal disturbance, two individuals in dating relationship in argument. One, not at location, stated disturbance had become physical, did not wish to press charges, neither was charged.

Deputy Bonnie Sepulvado, individual stated brothers not supposed to be on property on S. FM 14, property being probated, matter will be civil.

Deputy Jonah Croney, welfare check, FM 3056, individual had not answered phone in several days, Croney made contact, found everything OK, party notified.

Deputy Andrew Rapp, dog bite, victim bitten while delivering package, CR 1388, owner able to provide proof of vaccinations, dog placed on quarantine 10 days.

Deputy Andrew Morrison, FM 2869, disturbance, party’s girlfriend assaulted him inside vehicle. Tawnya Kay Crawford, 50, Winnsboro arrested for assault causes bodily injury.

March 31

Deputy Benjamin Whisenhunt, Deputy Croney, CR 1860, disturbance, party stated man came to property, started walking toward back yard, asked by homeowner to leave, man got in truck and attempted to run over subject several times, injured during incident. Individual criminally trespassed from location, case forwarded to Criminal Investigation Division (CID).

Deputy Morrison, Deputy Rapp, suspicious activity, CR 2310, party heard someone knock on door, did not see anyone, deputies checked area, unable to locate.

Deputy Whisenhunt, welfare check, CR 3130, person contacted, along with daughter-in-law, home health does check ups, party notified.

Deputy Croney, inquest , FM 14, funeral home, justice of peace contacted.

Deputy Melissa Pollard, welfare check, FM 778, party had not seen neighbor in four months, property checked, found secure and OK.

Deputy Croney, Lake Holbrook, advised person she could camp at Wood County lakes seven days.

Deputy Whisenhunt, FM 17, terroristic threats, parties requested deputy to advise the other they wanted no contact.

Deputy Croney, FM 515, someone became angry, burned out in yard, Croney contacted, told not to return until things settled down.

Deputy Rapp, Hwy. 37, stolen trailer, parked beside residence, no suspect, report forwarded to CID.

April 1

Deputy Rapp , assault report, PR 7997, two victims stated suspect had broken into room at residence numerous times, found with stolen property, got into argument, numerous witnesses observed suspect assault victim several times. Bryan Lee Barnett, 41, Hawkins arrested for two counts, assault causes bodily injury – family violence.

Deputy Colin Kovic, criminal mischief, CR 2745, mailbox damaged.

Deputy Kovic, burglary, Cimarron, vehicles burglarized, items taken, report forwarded to CID.

Deputy Jim Rapp, welfare check, CR 3802, found to be OK, party notified.

Deputy Jim Rapp, illegal burn, PR 8694, photographs taken for follow-up.

Deputy Gould, survey stakes moved by neighbor, criminal trespass warning requested, issued to neighbor, neighbor requested criminal trespass warning for party, warning served.

Deputy Kovic, individual upset that neighbors have dead cow on property causing odor issues. Neighbor contacted, will try to take care of it.

April 2

Deputy Gould, disturbance, CR 1727, two individuals got into argument, would not cooperate with investigation.

Deputy Skinner, suspicious circumstance, CR 2118, homeowner advised lights were off, but on upon return. Location checked, everything secure.

Deputy Kovic, individual’s ex-girlfriend took items when she moved out, didn’t wish to press charges.

Deputy Brad Cox, vehicle parked on side of CR 1942 at dead-end road, engine still warm, Cox believed driver walked to lake.

Deputy Linda Williams, welfare check, Villiage Cir., individual stated woman was in hospital.

Deputy Williams, theft report, FM 17, three individuals stating they grew up there, asked if they could look around, were told OK, owner noticed numerous items missing, report forwarded to CID.

Deputy Williams, Sgt. Brad Cox, welfare check, PR 8571, people reported people in home with gun, found the man alone, agreed to go with EMS, family contacted.

Deputy Rapp, Coke Road, dog bite, victim went to neighbor’s house to use phone. While leaving, neighbor’s dogs bit on leg. Rapp spoke with homeowner, not able to issue proof of vaccination, received six citations. Dogs put in quarantine 10 days.

Deputy Gould, noise complaint, FM 2088, located source of music, spoke with homeowner, having party, agreed to turn down music.

Deputy Matthew Cooper, dispute, FM 17. Avis Leveren Drew, 52, Alba arrested, assault by contact, family/household member/dating relationship.

April 3

Deputy Kovic, Hwy. 37, criminal trespass, person heard people on property, wanted them trespassed, search found no one.

Deputy Gould, disturbance, CR 4651, individuals having party and drinking, verbal altercation broke out, one individual became physical, able to stop the fight, report filed.

Deputy Cooper, CR 2697, noise complaint, agreed to turn off music.

Deputy Cooper, Hwy. 154, observed vehicle commit offense, traffic stop conducted, detected strong odor of burnt marijuana, search located drug paraphernalia, methamphetamine, crack cocaine. Landon Collins Talkington, 43, Channelview arrested for possession of a controlled substance PG1 <1g.

Deputy Cox, Hwy. 154, driver using internet to make phone calls, internet at house not working.

Deputy Rapp, burglary of vehicle, CR 1605, several vehicles gone through, numerous items taken, vehicles left unlocked, case forwarded to CID.

Deputy Rapp, CR 3273, burglary, party went to church, boyfriend came home an hour later, found back door open, residence had been gone through, did not notice anything missing, believed someone had been squatting on back of property, neighbor able to give description, case forwarded to CID.

Deputy Kovic, CR 1610, burglary of vehicle, someone went through vehicle, took numerous items, report forwarded to CID.

Deputy Gould, animal call, FM 1643, reported dog did not have sufficient shelter, food and water. Location was clean, plenty of food, water, adequate shelter.

Deputy Cooper, assault, individual stated had been assaulted by husband, did not wish to press charges, but wanted to check on well-being of husband and daughter. Deputies spoke with husband, had visible, fresh injuries that supported story he and daughter gave. Stephanie Kay Kirkpatrick, 55, of Golden arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon – family violence.

April 4

Deputy Cooper spoke with individual having issues with daughter, advised of rights of parents to discipline children.

Deputy Gould, three vehicles driving recklessly, Lake Holbrook, spoke with them about their driving.

Deputy Morrison, FM 49, damaged property, party advised mailbox damaged, second time in the past month.

Deputy Whisenhunt, welfare check, Hwy. 154, party concerned about living conditions of individual, offered options to assist.

Deputy Croney, criminal trespass, CR 2306, someone threatened party, came to residence, got in verbal altercation, parties separated prior to arrival.

Deputy Rapp, CR 2375, assault, victim, stated juvenile son assaulted her, has history of assaultive behavior. Wood County Juvenile Probation contacted, referral done.

Sgt. Corbin Hanner, dog bite, Winnsboro Emergency Room, victim bitten by own dog, documented.

April 5

Deputy Pollard, FM 2869, employee at business stated two females came in, ordered food, ate it, left before they paid.

Deputy Pollard, animal call, CR 3148, party and neighbor, who is family member, got into argument regarding aggressive dog, no offense, incident documented.

Deputy Andrew Rapp, suspicious circumstance, CR 1336, vehicle driving by residence, checked area for vehicle, not located.

Deputy Rapp, party receiving harassing and threatening messages from member of HOA, wished to have incident filed.

Deputy Rapp, Cliffside Path, assault, victim hesitant to give information, eventually stated husband assaulted her, did wish to press charges, evident signs of injury consistent with assault. David William Erler, 63, Hawkins arrested for assault causes bodily injury-family violence; interference with emergency call.

Deputy Morrison, CR 1660, traffic on road, advised a lot of traffic on roadway before and after school and individual speeding and passing school bus while stopped, extra patrol issued.

Deputy Morrison, juvenile wished to move from parents’ house, advised parents responsible to make decisions on her behalf.

Deputy Rapp, CR 1560, criminal mischief by unclothed person, victim stated neighbor came onto property completely unclothed, broke window bedroom. Ethan Chance Ralph, 26, Alba arrested for criminal mischief >=$100<$750.
