May 25

Deputy Whisenhunt, theft; caller’s ex-girlfriend moved out of house, took some of her belongings, deputy later notified stolen items brought back, charges dropped.

Deputy Mayer, disturbance, Private Road 8656; victim stated father had taken medication, drank alcohol, caused him to get physical, attempted to grab him, did not wish to pursue charges.

Deputy Croney and Deputy Morrison, warrant service, FM 515. Wayland Road, 44, Winnsboro arrested.

Deputy Croney and Deputy Morison, warrant service, FM 778. Kenneth Morrow, 79, Hawkins arrested.

Deputy Croney and Deputy Moriso, warrant service, Hwy 154. Rebecca Bell, 29, Quitman arrested.

Deputy Croney, criminal trespass, FM 515; people on property not allowed there, would like them removed. All parties left scene, issued criminal trespass warning. Justin Seay, 31, Yantis arrested for outstanding warrant.

May 26

Deputy Croney and Deputy Morrison, warrant service, County Road 4700. Mark Gleixner, 58, Winnsboro arrested.

Deputy Cooper, traffic stop, Pacific St., Mineola; observed vehicle to have brake light out, driver gave deputy a pistol and began showing signs of nervousness. After deputy asked driver if there were narcotics in vehicle she began to cry, stated she did not think so. After getting consent to search, deputy located container containing crystal-like substance. Daphney Ellsworth, 43, Quitman arrested for possession of controlled substance and unlawful carrying of weapon. 

Deputy Pollard, stolen property; caller possibly located stolen boat, would like it checked. Homeowner provided title that did not return to the boat, number on boat came back stolen; boat towed to Sheriff’s Office for further investigation.

May 27

Deputy Rapp, theft, County Road 3256; caller located her mailbox in ditch with orders missing, had no suspects but would like to press charges, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Cooper, reckless driver, FM 3056; located vehicle driving on wrong side of road, driver advised did not realize was on wrong side of road.

Deputy Williams, dispute, Holiday Villages; juvenile hiding in closet, grandfather trying to remove her. Scratches located on both parties, grandparents wanted granddaughter removed from house. 

May 28

Deputy Rapp, disturbance, FM 2869; caller and girlfriend got into argument, she took his keys. After she gave keys back, she bit him, threw items in the house. No bites located on individual, caller did not want to press charges. 

Deputy Kovic, scam; caller advised someone contacted him by phone claiming to be tax office, he provided them with banking information to pay taxes; caller later discovered he was scammed, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Rapp, shots fired, County Road 4858; suspect advised was shooting in safe direction away from people and houses, suspect given verbal warning, left scene.

May 29

Deputy Gould, dispute, County Road 2168; homeowner advised got into argument with daughter, daughter advised mother not wanting her to leave residence, parties separated, no offense occurred. 

Sgt. Skinner, ATVs on roadway near Lake Quitman, smelled alcohol from one of parties, suspect admitted drinking multiple alcoholic beverages, planned to go down major public roadway. Jerry Toney, 29, Quitman arrested for public intoxication.

Sgt. Skinner, disturbance, County Road 3455; male stated he and girlfriend got into argument, she would not get back into vehicle, female who had strong odor of alcohol, had attempted to fight multiple people. Teagan Todd, 21, Hawkins arrested for public intoxication. 

Deputy Rapp, dispute, County Road 1602; caller’s husband began arguing, kicked in bathroom door, male advised he would stop drinking and stay separated for the night.

Deputy Rapp, missing vehicle; caller advised last saw vehicle early in the morning while leaving residence, did not know who took it, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Baldwin, theft, County Road 3947; when caller came outside to check on puppies, noticed one missing; camera footage showed vehicle pull up and person take puppy, case forwarded to investigations.

May 30

Sgt Milbourn, assault, FM 17; victim advised was held against her will, assaulted over a few days. Suspect not on scene, contacted by phone, advised nothing occurred, was out of county. Report forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Croney, theft, Lake Fork; fishing rods stolen out of boat during night, did not have serial numbers, case forwarded to investigations. 

May 31

Deputy Mayer, theft, Hawkins; caller’s friend’s kids camping with them over weekend, believed they stole multiple pills, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Whisenhunt, fraud, Holly Lake Ranch; someone sent victim email stating she owed money, called phone number to resolve issue. After victim gave information, scammer able to withdraw money from account, victim able to get bank to freeze accounts, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Croney, theft, Holiday Villages; victim noticed license plate missing off trailer, believed stolen. 

Deputy Whisenhunt, credit card abuse, FM 49; victim noticed fraudulent charge, able to get store to cancel order, will get new credit card, victim wished to pursue charges.

Deputy Cooper, traffic stop, Holley St. Alba; observed male with suspended license, smelled marijuana, asked driver to step out of vehicle, handed deputy THC cartridge. Deputy located multiple baggies of various drugs. Sterlin Farley, 30, Quitman arrested for possession of controlled substance.

Deputy Whisenhunt and Deputy Morrison, disturbance, County Road 4568; observed suspect push victim; victim advised earlier the suspect came to house angry, began to assault her. Curtis O’Conners, 19, Winnsboro arrested for assault family violence.
