June 8

Deputy Croney, suspicious person, County Road 3450; neighbor saw truck stop in driveway, male walked into driveway, neighbor turned on light, male left in vehicle, caller will receive extra patrol.

Deputy Cooper, traffic stop, Front St., Hawkins; no license plate, failed to use turn signal, passenger, acting nervous, not making eye contact, located small bag with crystal substance. Charlene Cintron, 41, Hawkins, arrested for possession of controlled substance.

June 9

Deputy Croney, animal bite, Qutiman ER; one of victim’s cats became scared, bit her, provided vaccine records, would be quarantined.

Deputy Croney, criminal mischief, County Road 2302; daughter’s car keyed, did not know when or where, other incidents have occurred to daughter, due to lack of evidence would like incident documented.

Deputy Cooper, traffic stop, FM 778; expired registration, failed to maintain single lane multiple times. Driver fled for 1.5 miles. Deputy observed strong odor of burned marijuana, driver advised marijuana inside vehicle, located on driver and inside vehicle along with paraphernalia. Ronald Cooksey, 60, Mineola, arrested for fleeing from police officer and possession of marijuana.

Deputy Pollard, animal complaint, FM 49; neighbor’s cows keep coming onto property, messing up garden. Owner advised has been working on fence, cows continue to get out.

Deputy Pollard, burglary, Private Road 5551; individuals are cleaners for the business. Laroyce McDaniel, 63, Sulphur Springs, arrested for outstanding warrant.

Deputy Rapp, stolen firearm; ex-boyfriend had been at house, next day noticed firearm missing, victim would like to pursue charges, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Whisenhunt, theft, County Road 4660; someone victim knew had taken items from carport, could get photos of individual taking items, did not provide photos while deputy on scene, forwarded to investigations for follow up.

June 10

Deputy William, criminal mischief, FM 2088; car windows smashed, damage to hood. Photos and report made for insurance purposes.

Deputy Gould, disturbance, County Road 3847; victim and boyfriend got into argument, she slipped and fell, he pulled her by her hair, grabbed her arm, did not wish to pursue charges, did not want EMS.

Deputy Kovic, theft, Hwy. 80; caller ordered lumber from company in Mineola, had not received everything, asked to get information and documents, case forwarded to investigations.

Sgt. Skinner, warrant service, FM 778. Roger McGill, 44, Quitman, arrested for outstanding warrant.

Deputy Rapp, accident, Loop 564; fire department advised driver possibly intoxicated, not able to walk straight, driver admitted to being intoxicated. Ashlie Dailey, 29, Mineola, arrested for driving while intoxicated.

June 11

Deputy Rapp, protection order violation, County Road 3836; victim’s husband texted multiple times against protection order, provided screenshots, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Baldwin, disturbance, County Road 1236; located suspect walking down road, had odor of alcohol, appeared to have abrasions, stated was homeless, wasn’t from area, would not give much information. Patrick Pugh, 26, Mineola, arrested for public intoxication.

Deputy Baldwin, criminal mischief, County Road 3542; caller’s wife’s ex-business partner came to house, dumped trash, pulled up plants, caller wished to pursue charges, suspect not located, will attempt to contact suspect.

Deputy Gould, assault, FM 515; while eating at restaurant victim assaulted by two people, store advised victim would need to get camera footage himself, suspects not located at time of call, case forwarded to investigations.

June 12

Deputy Rapp, stolen firearm; caller left pistol in restroom of business. When caller noticed firearm missing, went back to restroom, firearm not there, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Rapp, shots fired, FM 312; caller advised returning to camper, landlord began to tell her to leave. As they began arguing, caller’s friend got out of vehicle, landlord grabbed firearm, fired two times into hood of her car, waited for law enforcement at end of driveway. Michelle Patterson, 58, Bryan, arrested for deadly conduct discharge a firearm.

Sgt. Skinner, warrant service, Oak St., Yantis. Shana Earle, 31, Yantis, arrested for outstanding warrants.

June 13

Deputy Croney, disturbance, County Road 1570; multiple females found in physical altercation, parties’ stories not matching, report filed, forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Rapp, criminal trespass, Hwy. 37; both parties wanted criminal trespass on each other, agreed they would stay at end of driveway when dropping off kids so they don’t violate order.

June 14

Deputy Whisenhunt, disturbance, County Road 4255; male subject advised ex-girlfriend came over, got into physical argument, male would like to press charges for injuries, female suspect would like to press charges, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Whisenhunt, theft; caller’s ex-wife stole gift cards while on the road working, advised to gather all information and call back once back home. 

Deputy Rapp, identity theft; caller believes someone has hacked all her accounts, took money, able to freeze accounts, will fill out identity theft packet.
