June 15

Deputy Williams, stolen firearm, caller previously reported female at residence, later noticed firearm missing, did not wish to pursue charges but would like firearm back.

Deputy Cox, warrant service at adult probation. Brandon Smith, 32, Alba arrested.

Deputy Baldwin, fire, Private Road 5534; boat owner plugged in battery maintainer, a few minutes later neighbor called to inform him boat on fire.

Deputy Gould, disturbance, Hwy. 80; suspect had left scene, not located, victim advised boyfriend had been drinking, got into argument, turned physical, victim had burn mark, began to bruise from injuries. CPS contacted, case will forward to investigations.

Deputy Maye, criminal trespass, County Road 4255; caller’s ex-girlfriend on property, wanted her criminally trespassed, suspect located, issued warning.

June 16

Sgt. Skinner, warrant service, Alba. Jack Hodge, 41, Alba, arrested.

Deputy Hughes and Sgt. Skinner, warrant service, County Road 2715. Wallace Kirby, 75, Alba arrested.

Sgt. Cox, animal bite, FM 288; caller advised as he got out of vehicle two dogs began barking at him, one bit him. Dog owner would get proof of vaccination to deputy, notified to keep dog quarantined 10 days.

Deputy Baldwin, assault, County Road 1584; victim assaulted by husband; no contact with suspect, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Rapp, assault, FM 2869; caller and friend began arguing, turned physical, victim had redness on face from possible injuries. Victoria Morris, 23, Southhaven arrested for assault family violence.

June 17

Sgt. Skinner and Deputy Hughes, disturbance, Hawkins; suspect advised he and friend at lake, had been drinking, victim advised friend they needed to leave, she punched him in face, before they got home suspect assaulted him again in car. Neither wanted to pursue charges, parties separated.

Deputy Croney, warrant service at adult probation. Thomas Walls, 31, Mineola arrested.

Deputy Cooper, traffic stop, FM 2869; observed vehicle parked on side of road with blanket covering front windshield, observed passenger acting nervous and had dilated pupils, asked passenger if she had paraphernalia in vehicle, she showed a smoking pipe. Deputy located bag containing crystal substance under driver’s seat. Frederick Williams, 46, Hawkins arrested for possession of controlled substance.

June 18

Deputy Croney, dog bite; while pulled over on side of road, caller bitten by stray dog. Deputy unable to locate any dogs in area, victim will get rabies prevention medicine.

Deputy Whisenhunt, juvenile in road, Yantis; security had taken juvenile back to residence. Deputy contacted juveniles’ parents who advised he slipped out front door without them noticing. CPS informed of new case.

Deputy Croney, animal cruelty, County Road 4560; dog owner advised someone on camera “messing with their dog,” later observed dog with large cut on leg, owner will provide camera footage, case will be investigated further.

Deputy Croney and Sgt. Milbourn, disturbance, Hwy. 154; victim stated they were arguing, nothing turned physical, mother stated she was assaulted by daughter, but no evidence of her being assaulted. Parties separated.

Deputy Cooper, traffic stop, Hawkins. Deputy observed vehicle past white line at intersection, recognized vehicle from previous stop, had fictitious plate, temporary tag had same numbers as last tag that was confiscated. Leslie Alaman, 26, Hawkins arrested for display fictitious license plate.

June 19

Deputy Whisenhunt, animal complaint, FM 17; caller believed neighbor left dead calves near driveway because he was mad at him. Deputy contacted cow owner who stated he did leave them and would pick them up later. TxDot notified to pick up animals.

Sgt. Hanner, pedestrian stop, County Road 4930; observed male appearing to be in distress on side of road, advised someone was looking for him and was scared. Deputy observed smoking pipe beside belongings, located bag with crystal substance. Erin Corrior, 46, Henderson arrested for possession of controlled substance.

Deputy Croney, theft, County Road 2895; caller advised someone stole four-wheeler from father’s house, no camera footage, no known suspects, VIN will be provided, entered as stolen.

Sgt. Hanner, traffic stop, FM 778; observed motorcycle with tail light out, attempted to stop, it began to flee several miles until he reached residence, fled on foot. Cpl. Cooper detained. Darrell Glosup, 54, Quitman arrested for evading arrest.

Cpl. Cooper, disturbance, FM 2088; located vehicle abandoned, unable to locate parties, met with family member who stated suspect hiding, deputies located him, female had multiple injuries, denied anything physical happened. Stephen Pyron, 31, Winnsboro arrested for assault causes bodily injury.

Deputy Croney, shots fired, FM 2869; victim advised was loading firearm in vehicle, they hit a bump, the fire arm went off, injured his leg, transported by EMS.

Deputy Pollard, pedestrian in roadway, County Road 4860. As trooper attempted to make contact, suspect jumped into lake, later ran from trooper. Nataly Pantoja, 24, Kansas City, Kan. arrested for public intoxication.

June 20

Sgt. Cox, warrant service at adult probation. Kevin Williams, 47, Tyler arrested.

Deputy Kovic, criminal mischief, County Road 1676; caller advised friend became upset, kicked door, punched air conditioner, wished to pursue charges, deputy unable to contact suspect, case forwarded to investigations.

June 21

Deputy Kovic, criminal mischief, FM 49; caller trying to evict tenant from property who became upset, punched windshield of vehicle on property, owner would like to press charges for damages.

Sgt. Cox, animal complaint, FM 69; caller located dead calf on property, appeared to have been shot, believes this happened multiple times previously, case documented in case of further incidents.

Deputy Kovic, criminal mischief, FM 49; water company advised meter cut off but residents broke lock, turned water back on, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Kovic, theft; someone had stolen scrap metal from house, sold at scrap yard, located missing material and knew suspect, case forwarded to investigations.
