September 7

Deputy Rapp, Holly Lake Ranch, disturbance; victim advised husband pushed her, took keys, left residence. Deputies unable to locate suspect, victim did not wish to pursue charges, requested protection order.

Sgt. Cox and Deputy Williams, disturbance, County Road 4255; victim’s boyfriend stole keys during night, they got into argument, victim went inside her residence, locked door, boyfriend kicked in door to get in house, victim pointed knife to keep him away, suspect fled into woods, waited on someone to pick him up, suspect not located.

Deputy Rapp, disturbance, County Road 1700; male threatening female with baseball bat, victim stated suspect accused her of stealing items, then started threatening her with baseball bat. David Mcloughlin, 43, Yantis arrested for aggravated assault with deadly weapon.

September 8

Deputy Williams and Sgt. Cox, animal complaint, County Road 3164; located multiple dogs, appeared to be in good health, owner did not have vaccine records, advised to get them vaccines.

Deputy Rapp, vehicle theft; caller believes neighbor’s friend stole vehicle, caller has not provided vehicle information.

Deputy Williams, theft, FM 312; during night someone stole four-wheeler from residence, wished to pursue charges, gave list of possible suspects.

September 9

Deputy Gould, disturbance, Private Road 7912; witness and brother got into argument, mother advised them to stop, suspect grabbed victim by hair, witness separated parties, suspect later stated mother threw brush, hit him, suspect transported for mental evaluation.

Deputy Whisenhunt, disturbance, Holly Lake Ranch; victim advised was sitting on couch, when father came in, they got into argument, suspect headbutted victim, left house, suspect and victim got into physical altercation outside. No arrest made at time of incident.

Deputy Hughes, theft, Yantis; caller witnessed two people enter store, put items in bag they did not pay for, suspect called, stated she would come back, pay for items. 

September 10

Deputy Croney, scam, County Road 4220; victim contacted by Amazon who stated someone bought phone on her account, person on phone then transferred caller to FBI. Scammer then asked her to buy gift cards, give him numbers, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Whisenhunt, disturbance, County Road 3582; victim advised wife who has dementia became angry, hitting him in chest. Deputy able to get female to go with EMS to be evaluated.

Deputy Pollard, disturbance, Hwy. 69; victim got into argument with boyfriend  who took items out of her purse, suspect located, deemed to be intoxicated. Justin Fitzgerald, 30, Mineola arrested for public intoxication.

September 11

Deputy Pollard, disturbance, Private Road 7477; caller advised son pushed her door open, pushed her down, victim continually changed story, contradicting original one, son contacted, stated he never saw his mom the entire day, son transported to father’s house.

Deputy Pollard, theft; caller stated helper took trailer, never brought it back, asked for money to return it, has not been located.

Deputy Rapp, disturbance, Private Road 7850; victim advised moving out when property owner showed up, began yelling at them, owner took gun out, pointed it at dogs and victim. Ronald Moss, 66, Hawkins arrested for deadly conduct.

Deputy Morrison, traffic stop, Quitman; observed vehicle fail to use blinker twice. Due to previous encounters with driver, asked to step out of vehicle. During a pat down search, a THC cartridge located on driver. Carlos Villarreal, 19, Quitman arrested for possession of controlled substance.

September 12

Deputy Rapp, Private Road 7631, drug call; security guard said narcotics located during room search, confiscated, suspect not arrested at time of incident.

Deputy Baldwin, suspicious vehicle, Quitman; vehicle driving around neighborhood, stopped by her storage building, area put in for extra patrol.

September 13

Sgt. Cox, criminal trespass, County Road 4470; criminally trespassed person showed up at residence again, followed suspect, they then followed her; victim has made previous reports, has not sent needed info, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Mayer, County Road 4460, shots fired; victim stated he accidentally shot himself in foot, witness, confirmed incident, deputies awaiting more information from victim.
