November 9

Deputy Croney, burglary; caller discovered items in house had been moved, items missing, no suspects.

Deputy Croney, damaged property, County Road 3114; owner advised neighbor had taken fence down, horses could get out, neighbor contacted, advised to put fence back up.

Deputy Croney, disturbance, Hwy. 37; victim and husband got into argument, parties separated.

November 10

Deputy Pollard, damaged property, Hwy. 37; owner advised someone came to residence banging on windows, when they left, observed car windshield broken, suspect criminally trespassed, undetermined if vehicle damage occurred before suspect was at residence.

Deputy Rapp, disturbance, FM 1795; victim and boyfriend arguing, he had become physical during argument the day prior, parties separated, case forwarded to investigations.

November 11

Deputy Rapp, criminal mischief, Holiday Village; two grills thrown into lake, trash dumped near pavilion. One grill recovered, case forwarded to investigations.

Cpl. Baldwin, assault; caller’s husband hit her son in face. Baldwin received video of child being slapped and picture of injuries, case forwarded to investigations.

November 12

Deputy Kovic, identity theft; caller received phone call telling him to withdraw money from bank, deposit it into new account, received second call from person claiming to be from FBI confirming everything was true, caller will fill out identity theft packet.

Sgt. Cox, warrant service, Quitman. Nathanael Wells, 19, Quitman arrested for outstanding warrant.

Deputy Hughes, disturbance, Holiday Village; suspect pulled back up to residence, advised he had nightmare and was yelling, victim advised suspect was yelling at her, left residence, suspect advised he would leave.

November 13

Deputy Hughes and Cpl. Mayer, disturbance, County Road 1885; victim and girlfriend got into argument when she hit him in head. Deputies observed redness on victim’s head. Jennifer Gardenhire, 37, Emory arrested for assault, outstanding warrant.

Deputy Rapp, criminal mischief; caller advised ex came to pick her up last night, as she was at his residence, she had another friend pick her up due to being scared. Her daughter observed a fire at their residence, saw the ex-boyfriend leaving in his vehicle. Later, the victim advised she was assaulted by the suspect during the night, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Rapp and Cpl. Baldwin, disorderly conduct, Private Road 8692; two people were running around outside, on drugs, deputies observed individuals possibly under influence. EMS contacted, checked one individual, other refused treatment.

November 14

Sgt. Milbourn, theft; victim believes his friend stole wallet, took money, victim called back, stated he received wallet back, missing money, case forwarded to investigations. 

Deputy Way, theft, Yantis; store owner advised employee had taken bank bag that contained money, provided video evidence, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Rapp, protection order violation, FM 779; victim’s ex-husband served protection order, still contacting her. Deputy confirmed person was served papers, case forwarded to investigations.

November 15

Deputy Whisenhunt, assault, Private Road 7905; victim and husband driving home when husband grabbed steering wheel, began shaking it, victim yelled at husband to stop, he hit her multiple times on arm. Deputy observed bruising on victim’s arm, APS was contacted. 

Deputy Croney, theft; caller hired someone to dog sit while she was out of town, they stole items from residence, was able to contact suspect who said she would return items, but has yet to do so.
