Deputy Gould, suspicious person, County Road 3940; someone with gun on porch, property owner confronted person who stated they were trying to sell gun, ran off.

Sgt. Williams, Deputy Way, disturbance, Hwy. 154; suspect advised he was packing, victim will claim she was pushed down. After speaking with victim, Joseph Ford, 48, of Quitman arrested for assault.

March 16

Sgt. Morrison, Cpl. Cooper, Deputy Croney, warrant service, County Road 2503; deputies heard someone moving inside camper, would not come out, wanted person, Damon Turlington, 19, Grand Saline arrested for outstanding warrant.

Deputy Atkinson, burglary after the fact, Hwy. 11; property owner observed extended family member crawling out of storage shed, have had problems with him stealing in the past.

Sgt. Morrison, Cpl. Cooper, warrant service, Mineola. Jimmie Creswell, 36, Hawkins arrested for outstanding warrant.

Deputy Croney, Deputy Comeaux, criminal mischief, County Road 3440; victim’s ex-girlfriend damaged property during night, offense report for criminal mischief completed.

Cpl. Cooper, Deputy Pollard, possible intoxicated driver; stopped vehicle, observed small child in backseat and 17.1g meth, .665 oz. marijuana, 28.94g psilocybin. CPS contacted, Mandi Mitchell, 55, Santa Fe, TX arrested for possession of controlled substance (two), possession of marijuana, child endangerment, outstanding warrant.

March 17

Deputy Kovic, Deputy Comeaux, terroristic threat, County Road 3440; deputies looked at text messages, instructed victim on next steps to take.

Cpl. Mayer, Deputy Arellano, assault after the fact, County Road 4105; victim was jumped at party, provided one suspects name, refused EMS.

Deputy Hughes, Deputy Arellano, traffic stop; narcotics located, Calvin Truss, 47, Quinlan arrested for possession of controlled substance; second vehicle stopped during traffic stop, deputies located stolen air compressor. Jerry Wren, 64, Mabank, TX arrested for theft of property.

March 18

Cpl. Baldwin, Deputy Rapp, suspicious circumstance, Hawkins; male screaming he had been shot, had no visible injuries, admitted to using narcotics, transported by EMS.

Sgt. Cox, Deputy Rapp, four-wheeler accident; caller’s daughter and friend hit house with four-wheeler, it rolled over on them. Both parties transported to hospital to be checked out.

Deputy Kovic, Deputy Rapp, warrant service, Holly Lake Ranch. PJ Emerson, Holly Lake Ranch arrested for outstanding warrant.

Deputy Hughes, traffic stop, County Road 2163; green leafy substance located. James Franklin, 55, Quitman, arrested for possession of marijuana. 

Deputy Arellano, warrant service, UT hospital, Quitman. Robert Piner, 25, Hawkins arrested for outstanding warrant.

March 19

Deputy Gould, shots fired, County Road 2274; hunters on property heard gun shots not coming from them, game warden arrived to handle call. 

Deputy Rapp, criminal trespass, County Road 3854; someone on property without permission. Deputy located suspect on adjacent property. Neither party could confirm property line, advised is civil matter.

Cpl. Baldwin, disturbance, County Road 2120; caller’s sister, mother in argument, sister left scene. 

Deputy Gould, agency assist, Alba; suspect detained, arrested for possession of marijuana, resisting arrest.

Sgt. Skinner, Deputy Hughes, suspicious vehicle, FM 2869; go cart located near tree line on side of road, no one around, unable to locate owner, vehicle towed, owner discovered at later date.

March 20

Cpl. Cooper, traffic stop, FM 312; driver had active warrant. Hunter Weems, 25, Winnsboro arrested for outstanding warrant.

Deputy Pollard, theft; rental property had door kicked in, multiple items stolen, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Croney, Deputy Comeaux, found property; caller located grenade inside residence. Tyler Fire Bomb Squad contacted, advised would retrieve grenade.

Sgt. Williams, Deputy Way, agency assist, FM 2088. EMS advised someone, had taken narcotics, complaining of pains, transported female, deputies discovered she had active warrants. Before female discharged from hospital, made suicidal statements, wanted treatment, female will be placed in custody upon discharge.

Sgt. Williams, Deputy Burdick, shots fired, Private Road 8574; caller got into argument with step-mother, went to fix the issue. While victim was working on water meter, step-mother fired two shots at him. Dawn Odom, 35, Winnsboro arrested for deadly conduct.

March 21

Sgt. Morrison, warrant service, adult probation. Laura Powell, 60, Quitman arrested for outstanding warrant.

Cpl. Cooper, warrant service, County Road 1210; wanted subject approached deputy, confirmed to be wanted. Michael Tutt, 35, Quitman arrested for outstanding warrant.

Lt. Milbourn, Sgt. Morrison, accident, County Road 1550; vehicle found in pasture after it ran off the roadway, driver found deceased.

Deputy Croney, Deputy Comeaux, animal complaint, County Road 2177; victim walking dogs, multiple dogs tried to attack his, victim pulled out knife, dog owners tried to fight him. Neither party wished to pursue charges.

Sgt. Morrison, Cpl. Cooper, warrant service. Hwy. 154. Kolby Wherley, 40, and Kaite Fouse, 33, were arrested for outstanding warrants.
