1:55 a.m. Deputies conducted a traffic stop on County Road 3490/FM 2869. Jeremy Lemley, 40, of Holly Lake Ranch, was arrested for possession of controlled substance.

1:55 a.m. Deputies conducted a traffic stop on County Road 3490/FM 2869. Jeremy Lemley, 40, of Holly Lake Ranch, was arrested for possession of controlled substance.

9:29 a.m. Deputies responded to a call on County Road 1630 in Alba in reference to someone driving their vehicle into and tearing up the reporting party’s pasture. Deputies will provide extra patrol.

9:51 a.m. Joyce Dickson, 40, of Yantis, was arrested for an outstanding warrant on Hwy. 154 in Yantis.

10:38 a.m. A case of credit card abuse was forwarded to investigators.

2:46 p.m. Deputies provided assistance to a motorist on Hwy. 154 at 3204.

4:25 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to the Mineola Police Department concerning a report of deadly conduct that occurred on County Road 2502 several days earlier. The reporting party stated that someone pointed a rifle at her.  The case was forwarded to investigators.

Jan. 23

12:18 a.m. Deputies were dispatched to FM 2869 in Hawkins about a suspicious vehicle. Deputies contacted the individual and cleared the incident.

6:50 a.m. Deputies were dispatched to W. Holly Trail in Hawkins in reference to an inquest. A female, 77, of Holly Lake Ranch was found deceased in her residence. The justice of the peace ordered an autopsy.

9:31 a.m. An individual reported a theft at County Road 2840 in Mineola a few days earlier. The reporting party stated someone had burglarized his truck and removed several items of value. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

12:57 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to County Road 2770 in Mineola concerning an inquest. A male, 75, of Mineola, was found deceased in his residence. The justice of the peace did not order an autopsy.

1:00 p.m. A deputy on patrol observed a car in a ditch on South FM 17 in Alba and stopped to investigate. Cheyenna Hendrickson, 19, of Alba, was arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.  

2:43 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to County Road 2770 in Mineola for credit card fraud. The reporting party stated that her credit card was used without her consent and wanted it documented.

3:19 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to FM 1643 in Winnsboro about a dog bite. The deputy located the dogs and spoke to the owner to have the dogs quarantined. They showed no signs of rabies.

5:22 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to County Road 4849 in Winnsboro about a noise complaint.  Deputies discovered that the noise was a bird boomer cannon being used to scare birds away.

9:11 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to County Road 1301 in Yantis about a truck parked at a construction site. Deputies searched the area, found the site undisturbed and cleared the incident.

Jan. 24

1:35 a.m. Deputies were dispatched to FM 515 in Yantis about a possible burglary. Deputies searched the area and confirmed that all of the storage units were secure.

9:21 a.m. Deputies were dispatched to County Road 1788 in Yantis about a suspicious vehicle. Deputies searched the area, located the vehicle and cleared the incident.

5:07 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to County Road 2150 in Quitman concerning a disturbance. Tara Cooper, 33, of Quitman, was arrested for reckless driving and abandon/endanger child criminal negligence.

10:02 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to Private Road 5174 about a suspicious vehicle.  Deputies located the vehicle, spoke to the driver and cleared the incident.

Jan. 25

9:18 a.m. Deputies were dispatched to FM 1804 in Mineola concerning a vehicle in the Sabine River.  Deputies assisted DPS and game wardens in determining that the vehicle was unoccupied but reported stolen out of Dallas.  

10:31 a.m. Deputies were dispatched to Birchwood Lane in Holly Lake Ranch concerning a welfare check.  The individual was located and transported to the hospital.

4:45 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to Private Road 5295 in Yantis concerning a violation of a protective order.  This case was forwarded to investigators. Justin Friddle, 36, of Quitman, was arrested for out-of-county violation of bond/protective order assault/stalking.

7:45 p.m. Deputies conducted a traffic stop on County Road 2320 in Quitman. Deputies performed a standard field sobriety test on the driver and were in the process of an arrest when the driver requested EMS. She was released to EMS but was advised that a warrant would be issued for her arrest.

10:20 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to Hwy. 154 in Yantis in reference to an assault. Deputies located the victims of the assault who stated that they did not wish to pursue the case. Deputies cleared the incident.

Jan. 26

9:56 a.m. Deputies were dispatched to Private Road 7855 in Hawkins concerning a welfare check.  Deputies located the individual who was transported by EMS.

1:57 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to FM 1799 in Mineola concerning criminal mischief. Someone illegally accessed the property, damaged a game camera, cut two locks on an enclosure and released two animals. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

4:56 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to FM 2869 in Hawkins in reference to a disturbance. Deputies met with the involved individuals and cleared the incident.

7:01 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to Hwy. 154 in reference to a suspicious person. Deputies located the individual and cleared the incident.

7:42 p.m. Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Richard St. in Quitman. Dereick Hettich, 39, of Quitman, was arrested for outstanding warrants.

8:08 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to Highway 80/2790, concerning a traffic hazard. Deputies moved a large pipe out of the roadway.

8:10 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to County Road 2922 in Golden concerning an inquest. A male, 59, was found deceased in his residence. The justice of the peace did not order an autopsy.

11:12 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to N. Hwy. 37 in reference to a fire. Deputies determined this to be an individual burning trash.

Jan. 27

2:18 a.m. Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Hwy. 69 in Mineola. Tyler Hall, 20, of Sherman, was arrested for outstanding warrants. Christopher Gallardo, 23, of Sherman, was arrested for an outstanding warrant and failure to identify.

4:34 a.m. Deputies were dispatched to Broadway in Alba about a suspicious vehicle. Deputies located the individual and cleared the incident.

2:34 p.m.  Deputies received a phone call from an individual reporting the theft of a trailer from Hwy. 80 at FM 3056. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

7:30 p.m.  County Road 4627 in WinnsboroSteven Martin, 28, of Winnsboro, was arrested for an outstanding warrant on County Road 4627 in Winnsboro.

9:15 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to S. FM 14 in Mineola about a disturbance. Deputies met with the involved parties, had them separate and then cleared the incident.

Jan. 28

1:48 p.m. Deputies provided assistance to a motorist on County Road 2840/2843.

3:51 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to 778/2369 about a suspicious vehicle. Deputies located the vehicle and cleared the incident.

10:32 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to County Road 4560 in Winnsboro concerning an inquest. A male, 49, was found deceased in his residence.  The justice of the peace did not order an autopsy. 

11:29 p.m. Deputies provided assistance to a motorist on 69/2345.
