10:14 a.m. Deputies spoke with the reporting party concerning a scam on CR 3960 near Hawkins. Deputies gave the reporting party advice and cleared the incident.

1:46 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to CR 2275 near Mineola concerning criminal mischief. A known person damaged the reporting party’s property. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

6:50 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to CR 2280 near Mineola about a disturbance. James Matthews, 72, of Mineola, was arrested for assault family violence.

8:05 p.m. Deputies spoke with the reporting party about harassment on FM 2869 near Hawkins. Deputies issued a criminal trespass warning and cleared the incident.

9:19 p.m. Deputies spoke with the reporting party concerning possible criminal trespass on FM 288 near Quitman. Deputies gave the reporting party advice and cleared the incident.

May 14

12:32 a.m. Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle on CR 1940 near Yantis. Deputies located the vehicle and cleared the incident.

3:04 a.m. Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle on Beaulah St. in Hawkins. Justin Richard, 32, of Hawkins, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.

9:44 a.m. Wilma Royston, 60, of Alba, was arrested for hinder apprehension or prosecution known felon on FM 17 near Alba. Scott Stalsberg, 51, of Alba, was arrested for an outstanding warrant.

10:44 a.m. Deputies were dispatched to CR 2262 near Mineola in reference to theft. A known person stole several items from the reporting party’s property. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

7:15 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to CR 2164 near Quitman concerning shots fired. Deputies located and advised the individual to shoot in a safe direction.

10:19 p.m. Deputies spoke with the reporting party concerning a terroristic threat on Bent Bow Lane near Hawkins. Deputies gave the reporting party advice and cleared the incident.

May 15

1:42 a.m. Deputies were dispatched to CR 1941 near Yantis concerning a dispute. Deputies located the individuals and cleared the incident.

9:47 a.m. Deputies were dispatched to FM 2869 near Hawkins about a burglary. Someone broke into the reporting party’s property and stole several items. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

11:02 a.m. Deputies were dispatched to CR 1616 near Alba concerning fraud. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

12:37 p.m.  Deputies were dispatched to PR 7631 near Hawkins concerning fraud. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

1:10 p.m., Deputies were dispatched to CR 1600 near Alba in reference to theft. An air compressor was stolen from the reporting party’s property. This case is active.

4:15 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to CR 3269 near Mineola concerning criminal mischief. A known person damaged the reporting party’s property. 

5:22 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to CR 3279 near Hawkins concerning suspicious circumstances. Deputies located the suspicious activity and cleared the incident.

6:39 p.m.  Deputies were dispatched to Waterfront Row near Quitman about an assault. Michael Mashburn, 50, of Quitman, was arrested for assault causes bodily injury-family violence.

7:35 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to CR 2275 near Mineola concerning a fire. Deputies located the fire and determined it was a controlled burn.

9:31 p.m. Deputies spoke with the reporting party about a terroristic threat on CR 1840 near Yantis. Deputies gave the reporting party advice and cleared the incident.

May 16

1:52 a.m. Deputies responded to a suspicious person on CR 1950 near Yantis. Deputies located the individual and cleared the incident.

4:28 a.m. Deputies were dispatched to Sioux near Quitman in reference to an inquest. A male, 62, was found deceased in his residence. The justice of the peace did not order an autopsy.

8:29 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to CR 2275 near Mineola concerning a disturbance. Roger Lawson, 38, of Mineola, was arrested for assault causes bodily injury. 

May 17

1:11 a.m. Deputies were dispatched to CR 2430 near Mineola about a fire. Mineola Fire Department extinguished the fire and the incident was cleared.

3:07 a.m. Deputies were dispatched to Hwy. 154 near Quitman about criminal trespass. Deputies located the individuals and cleared the incident.

8:44 a.m. Deputies were dispatched to CR 1941 near Yantis about suspicious circumstances. Deputies located the suspicious activity and determined it was weather related.

10:02 a.m. Deputies were dispatched to Lake Holbrook beach concerning suspicious circumstances. Deputies located the suspicious activity and cleared the incident.

1:27 p.m.  Deputies were dispatched to CR 1475 near Como concerning an assault. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

7:33 p.m., Deputies were dispatched to Arapaho near Quitman about a theft. Several items were stolen from the reporting party’s property. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

8:48 p.m. Deputies spoke with the reporting party concerning harassment on CR 1560 near Alba. Deputies gave the reporting party advice and cleared the incident.

May 18

3:27 a.m. Deputies were dispatched to CR 3470 near Hawkins considering an assault. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

12:52 p.m.  Deputies were dispatched to CR 1558 near Alba about theft. A trolling motor was stolen from the reporting party’s boat. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

4:51 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to CR 4470 near Winnsboro about theft. Several items were stolen from the reporting party’s property. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

8:00 p.m. Deputies spoke with the reporting party concerning a terroristic threat on CR 2130 near Quitman. Deputies gave the reporting party advice and cleared the incident.

9:48 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to CR 2264 near Mineola about a noise complaint. Deputies located the individuals and advised them to lower the volume of the music.

May 19

1:11 a.m.  Deputies were dispatched to CR 2176 near Quitman concerning a dispute. Parties were separated for the night.

2:22 a.m. Deputies were dispatched to CR 2840 near Mineola about a dispute. Deputies made contact with the individuals and cleared the incident.

12:25 p.m. Deputies spoke to the reporting party concerning a theft on FM 515 near Alba. A cell phone was stolen from the reporting party’s property.

1:11 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to Kickapoo near Quitman about a dispute. Deputies made contact with all parties involved and cleared the incident.

6:26 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to CR 2175 near Quitman concerning a terroristic threat. Garrett Brown, 20, of Big Sandy, was arrested for terroristic threat causes fear of imminent serious bodily injury.

7:59 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to CR 2540 near Mineola concerning theft.  A dog was stolen from the reporting party’s property. This case has been forwarded to investigators.
