Nov. 20

8:03 a.m. Deputies were dispatched to CR 1540 near Alba about shots fired. Deputies made contact with all parties involved. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

9:19 a.m. Melissa Boaz, 39, of Mineola was arrested for possession of a controlled substance after deputies made a traffic stop on CR 2805.

2:05 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to CR 3811 near Hawkins about a theft. Someone stole the reporting party’s vehicle. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

2:10 p.m. Adam Hodges, 35, of Yantis, was arrested for an outstanding warrant after deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle on PR 5935 near Yantis. 

3:50 p.m. Deputies spoke with the reporting party concerning fraud on FM 1254 near Mineola. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

5:34 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to CR 4510 near Winnsboro concerning a disturbance. Parties were separated for the night.

6:56 p.m. Deputies spoke with the reporting party about terroristic threat on Oak St. in Yantis. Deputies issued a criminal trespass warning and cleared the incident.

Nov. 21

7:21 a.m. Deputies spoke with the reporting party about a possible criminal trespass on CR 4135 near Quitman. Deputies gave the reporting party advice and cleared the incident.

11:12 a.m. Deputies spoke with the reporting party about a possible theft on CR 3104 near Quitman. Deputies gave the reporting party advice and cleared the incident.

2:29 p.m. Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle on CR 1468 near Quitman. Deputies located the vehicle and cleared the incident.

3:46 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to CR 2246 near Mineola concerning a reckless driver. Deputies advised the reporting party that extra patrol would be provided.

3:51 p.m. Deputies spoke with the reporting party about harassment on CR 1418 near Quitman. Deputies gave the reporting party advice and cleared the incident.

7:33 p.m. Deputies spoke with the reporting party about terroristic threat on CR 1885 near Yantis. Deputies gave the reporting party advice and cleared the incident.

10:39 p.m. Samuel Earle, 22, of Yantis, was arrested for driving while intoxicated with open alcoholic container after deputies conducted a traffic stop on Oak St. in Yantis. 

Nov. 22

6:30 a.m. Deputies were dispatched to Hwy. 37 near Quitman about a dispute. Deputies spoke with all parties involved and cleared the incident.

8:24 a.m. Deputies were dispatched to FM 1799 near Mineola about an abandoned vehicle. Deputies located the vehicle and cleared the incident.

9:56 a.m. Deputies were dispatched to CR 2770 near Mineola concerning a burglary. Several items were stolen from the reporting party’s residence and vehicle. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

11:43 p.m. Deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle at Lake Quitman camping area. Deputies located the vehicle and cleared the incident.

Nov. 23

7:56 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to CR 3496 near Hawkins about the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Deputies spoke with all parties involved and cleared the incident.

9:37 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to Indian Gap near Quitman concerning criminal trespass. Deputies issued a criminal trespass warning and cleared the incident.

Nov. 24

8:33 a.m. Deputies were dispatched to CR 1590 near Alba for an inquest. A male, 77, was found deceased in his residence. No autopsy was ordered.

12:05 p.m. Steven Allen, 58, of Quitman was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and wrong altered/obscured vehicle registration after deputies conducted a traffic stop on Hwy. 154 near Quitman; 

1:43 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to Holly Lake Ranch concerning criminal mischief. Property was damaged at Holly Lake Ranch. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

Nov. 25

9:21 a.m. Deputies were dispatched to CR 2260 near Mineola for an inquest. A male, 80, was found deceased in his residence. No autopsy was ordered.

12:11 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to CR 2843 near Mineola for a welfare check. Deputies located and transported the individual to the hospital.

12:24 p.m. Deputies were dispatched to PR 8257 near Winnsboro concerning criminal trespass. Deputies spoke with all parties involved and cleared the incident.

8:41 p.m. Deputies conducted a traffic stop on FM 49 near Mineola and arrested Joseph Bedwell, 36, of Mabank, for possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a firearm by felon and resist arrest, search or transport.
