4:17 p.m. A vehicle was stolen on Harris St. in Yantis. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

4:25 p.m. Theft of electricity was reported on Hwy. 154 near Winnsboro.

7:59 p.m. BobbieJo Castanon, 19, of Quitman, was arrested for assault causes bodily injury family violence after a reported disturbance on CR 2388 near Quitman.

Oct. 18

11:03 a.m. Paperwork and keys were taken from property on CR 2298 near Mineola. 

4:02 p.m. A male, 75, was found deceased in his residence on CR 3840 near Hawkins. The justice of the peace did not order an autopsy.

6:36 p.m. Several items were reported stolen from a residence on CR 3120 near Quitman. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

10:34 p.m. Deputies investigated a suspicious vehicle on Lake Winnsboro point.

Oct. 19

12:10 p.m. A criminal mischief report on PR 6338 was determined to be a vehicle accident only, due to pieces of a vehicle near the area.

7:52 p.m. Parties were separated for the night following a disturbance report on CR 2100 near Mineola.

12:25 p.m. Deputies located the four-wheeler and gave the individual advice following a report of a reckless driver on CR 1681 near Alba.

10:33 p.m. The reporting party’s mailbox was damaged on Concho near Quitman. 

11:44 p.m. Deputies located the individuals and advised them to lower the volume of the music on PR 6645 near Mineola.

Oct. 20

12:07 a.m. Jerico Phillips, 42, of Mineola, was arrested for an outstanding warrant and possession of a controlled substance on CR 2745 near Mineola.

 2:46 a.m. Harassment where an assault occurred was reported on PR 6338 near Mineola. This case has been forwarded to the district attorney and a warrant was issued.

9:09 a.m. A trash can was stolen from the reporting party’s property on PR 6956 near Alba. This case has been forwarded to investigators. 

9:19 a.m. Harassment was reported on CR 3880 near Mineola. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

9:21 a.m. Several items were stolen from the reporting party’s property on CR 3120 near Quitman. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

9:28 a.m. Harassment was reported on PR 6882 near Mineola. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

10:00 a.m. The reporting party’s property was damaged on CR 3250 near Quitman. This case has been forwarded to investigators.

5:59 p.m. Gene Tedder, Jr., 63, of Mineola, was arrested for assault and criminal mischief following a disturbance on FM 14 near Hawkins.

3:19 a.m. A suspicious vehicle in the roadway on Hwy. 11 near Winnsboro was towed by Wyatt’s Towing;

12:26 p.m. A possible violation of a protective order was reported.

3:05 p.m. Harassment was reported on PR 6965 near Alba.

8:22 p.m. Clarice Slayton, 63, of Mineola, was arrested for an outstanding warrant on Goodson Circle in Mineola.

2:09 p.m. A scam was reported on CR 4925 near Quitman.

3:20 p.m. Lyle Ely, 25, of Winnsboro, was arrested for an outstanding warrant on Bermuda St. in Quitman.

11:29 p.m., A dispute on FM 1795 near Hawkins was determined to be a civil matter.
