Wood County voters will have choices for two Congressional representatives
The two men who represent parts of Wood County in the U.S. Congress have drawn challengers from both parties.
Lance Gooden of Terrell, whose district includes western Wood County, has been challenged by Don Hill of Dallas in the March 3 Republican primary. The district includes part of Dallas.
The winner will face Carolyn Salter of Palestine, who filed as a Democrat, in the November general election.
Louie Gohmert of Tyler, who represents eastern areas of the county, has drawn a challenge in the GOP primary from Johnathan Kyle Davidson. The winner will take on Democrat Hank Gilbert of Tyler in November.
