A project to install new pedestrian signal poles, sidewalks and handicap ramps at the intersection of Red Bud Lane and Hwy. 37 in Quitman is underway near Jim Hogg City Park.
The Texas Dept. of Transportation advises there will be daytime lane closures and motorists should expect delays.
Encino Landscape was awarded the contract for $548,000.
Anticipated completion is in March.
